<< WOW!:Q Look at some of the cool Dreamcast accessories at Hong Kong Toys

They have what you need to play PAL discs on US Dreamcasts: DC-X. I've actually seen DC-X at EB in the mall, too, so maybe I'll look there first. Some UK gamer is selling 100 copies of Shenmue II on eBay now for $40 each. Even though getting both items is a ~$75 expense, it's MUCH cheaper than buying an X-Box, which the exclusive US platform for Shenmue II.
>>

This is cool:

PC/PS to DC Joypad & Keyboard Convertor
Converts your PC joystick, joypad, racing wheel, Keyboard, to be used on Dreamcast.
Also converts your PS joystick, joypad, racing wheel to be used on the Dreamcast.
Supports analog function.

Does anyone know if it'll support a keyboard AND a joystick at the same time?

I saw several auctions on eBay by "returnbuy" apparantely a business with like 20,000 positives on ebay. They were selling several copies of Grandia II for $4 BUY IT NOW price. I passed on them because it seemed sketchy. Should I have gone for this?

Already on the list at 9.99, BTW

MIGHTY difficult to get 20,000 positives on eGay by being a shady seller.
Assuming they didn't find a way to hack the feedback system :D

TallGeese I guess I wasn't clear what I meant. It said the game has not been tested. The condition of the item was ranked between 1-5 in several categories but no explanation was given. For Functionality it had 3/5...what does this mean? The game either works, or it doesn't work...it's a 2 CD game, does it only have one of the CDs? For packaging it had 1/5....but then says "manuals might not be included" Seems contradictory.

Sounds to me like pre-owned. Personally, I prefer to inspect pre-owns beforehand, since the quality (read: level of damage) varies so widely.

Just MHO.

I found the AMAZING (and most-wanted) Looney Tunes Space Race at a local Sears. It was marked $29.95, but rang up as $15. Worth it. This and Samba de Amigo are the only games I've played more than $10 for.

Also, valuebin.com has STAR WARS EPISODE 1, STREET FIGHTER ALPHA 3 , and TEST DRIVE 6, $10 or all 3 for $27 shipped. Add 3 video games to your cart to get the $5 off. You can't combine this $5 with the referral $5.

Thanks to all that have contributed to the thread so far.

Does the MadCatz Universal System Selector destort the image any? I need to hook up two DBS recievers and my DC to it, but don't want to suffer with image quality problems.

Grandia II's packaging is misleading. Yes, Grandia II comes with 2 CDs, but one is just a music soundtrack CD! There is only one game GD-ROM for Grandia II.

I bought Looney Tunes Space Race for $9.99 at a BuyItNow! auction on eBay. I also got Test Drive LeMans from the same eBay seller for $9.99. Should be great buys from what I hear, though I haven't gotten the games yet to verify.

I recently received Grandia II from Returnbuy via eBay. Awesome deal for about $8 shipped. It came in a double jewel case, w/ the game, soundtrack, and manual. Despite the company's own item ratings, this thing was in excellent condition. The only thing bad about it was the numerous stickers that were on the jewel case. Also the disc is slightly scratched. Otherwise, a great buy. I don't know if everybody's will be in similar condition though :)

Hey everyone, I just got back from the local Wiz, and *every* dreamcast game is $19.99 or less. I saw World Series Baseball 2K2 there for $19.99 (didn't buy it though, didn't know how the game was). They also had the official Sega 4x memory card there for $19.99 (box labeled $29.99 but scanned at the lower price). They only had one though. It appears content may vary at your local Wiz, so check it out.

Theft is not a hot deal. It is theft.

Why not just shoplift a PS2, or hijack a taxi? There is no difference, except that you know you won't get caught.

Stop with the piracy already. There are many amazing games for $10 or less, fercrissake.

I was looking at this Hong Kong toys Dreamcast stuff, and noticed that they show a VGA box that they claim has the passthrough VGA like the $49 Interact one. This one supposedly automatically switches between the DC and PC, and list for $13! Anyone know anything about this product?

Here's the Link. Scroll down a bit to get to the product.

Blockbuster is also selling all of it's Dreamcast stock to make room for xbox and co. I picked up Tennis 2k2 for $18.

For anyone located in Orange County, CA...check out GameSquare

They sell, buy, rent, and trade dreamcast games as well as all of the other systems (Xbox, gameCube, PSX, N64, etc.) They have a pretty decent selection of new and used dreamcast games as well as several of the accesories for the system. There location is on the webpage. :)

I just got Soul Calibur yesterday.........paid full price $29.99 though. But this game kicks @ss.

Now I'm just dying hunting down for a good Controller Stick. Can anyone help me find a place that sell Agetec or whatever you can recommend?

I really have no idea where to get it beside ebay.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but I don't know if it means that there's an actual pass through (which I assume they would give you another vga cable for so that you can run it from the box to the video card) or if it's just a switch that switches back and forth from your tv and monitor. I was thinking about getting a vga adapter, but not if I have to unplug the monitor cable from my video card to plug into the adapter every time I want to play. Bah... stupid brief product descriptions!

BTW, from the picture, it looks like they give you another cable of some sort... maybe one that goes from the adapter to the video card perhaps?) Anyone have any ideas about it?

I noticed Test Drive V-Rally is only $9.99 at Bestbuy.com (Link), which is way lower than the $45 on the list.

/me hopes there will be some left over on Friday
