I tried to change the default icon of a folder and, finding no other ways, I tried to do it via Tools>Folder Options>File Types. Well, I managed to change it for File Folder, but it didn't display differently. That's alright with me, I could live without it. But, I then went to navigate to the folder where the icon was, and, when I double click on the folder, instead of opening in the same window, it opened a command prompt there. It can because I've downloaded that powertoy, but it shouldn't do it on double-click! So, I went back in, and saw that open was not an action for file folder extension (NONE). I created a new action called open, using explorer.exe. But now, however, it opens each folder in a new window, and it does it slightly slower than it would if I had actually chosen "open in new window". Speaking of which, I went to the options and changed it to open in new window, then changed it back to open in same window. No such luck. So, I was wondering, is it possible to restore the default actions for file types? I'm not to happy with it, but I could live. However, it also affects the other users on the computer and I dunno how they'd react to this. Luckily they don't navigate through folders too often.. If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks.
