Wth am I supposed to do with it now? It is to young to fly, but he runs about 60mph.

I cannot see any visible damage to it.

Im to tired to chase it around the house for a pic. I think it is a sparrow...
All we have is the dog pound around here, Im sure they wont take a bird.

You were suppose to wait until the cat offers it as a tribute to you on your front door mat.

Well the front door was open and I heard it chirping like crazy. It was in my cat Pig pins mouth.

Bird will die also - should have just left it with your cat.

Well if the humane thing to do is to kill it I will. Better that then the cats playing with it for hours.

It'll die of shock, and there's nothing you can do about it (except go to the vet, it'll cost you $150+). It's better to kill it (shoot it in the head, or chop the head off) and give the remains to your cat. Sorry, buddy, but it is better to put it out of its misery 🙁.

Let the cat take care of it, it's a natural thing so why not let the cat play with it as much he/she wants to before killing the bird?

The cat is not natural. Kill the kitten.

Are all you guy a bunch of morons! 😕 Hasn't anyone heard of a wildlife sanctuary? Take the bird there. Jeeeeess...

Google animal or wildlife rescue in your area and contact them. My wife used to work a hotline for a local group in our area and they have lists of rehabers you can contact. They will tell you how to care for it or what to do.

Usually the cat will bring the first one live for your approval.

Now you can expect to see 'bits & pieces', as they will share their future exploits.

is your cat a Vegan?
why are you abusing your cat by not letting it eat?

someone might call animal control on you for cat abuse if you keep stealing your cat's dinner

Pics of both the cat and the bird!

oh, and come on people. I'm sure it wouldn't have been a big deal if the cat HAD eaten the bird, but who would feel good about letting a cat eat a baby non pest animal when you could easily avert it?
