Good news, while I was sleeping this morning, my wife made a few phone calls and there is a animal rescue place that will take "Speedy".

Odds are Speedy won't live through the night no matter what you (or they) do with him.

I'm surprised they're even willing to take it, you shoulda just let the cat finish him off.

Ahhh but what you are forgetting is the fact that animal shelters usually have cats and dogs and bringing in free food.. er birds is the humane thing for them to do.

why are you abusing your cat by not letting it eat?

someone might call animal control on you for cat abuse if you keep stealing your cat's dinner

lol....you guys crack me up sometimes.

I think Speedy will be ok. He ate some mashed hot dogs, and he had been chirping his head off all morning.
My wife didnt know why I called him Speedy....until she got up this morning and had to chase him around the house.

Yah... worms aren't meat.

You must admit that an insect is slightly different from a pig, gorund up or not.

Yeah, our local Audobahn Society will pretty much take any [bird] you bring in.
