It was CNN that actually reported that but I see they were wrong. Either way a party that is dead surely wouldn't have kept a majority in the House, but use whatever excuse you need to make yourself feel better.
The beginning of the end....

So you are unaware that House seats are supposed to be granted to the states based on their relative population? The very reason for the existence of the House is to give every voter equal representation. What went "wrong" is that house seats are not apportioned by the nationwide popular vote.

I'm not going to explain 5th grade math to you. You just continue to hold on to your delusions as tight as you can.And what about what you just said implies that looking at the nationwide popular vote is in anyway relevant to determining the makeup of the House?
To the Republicans: You guys got beat by 2% in the Presidential election and by less that 1% in the House. Give it up and go home, nobody wants you anymore!!!
LOL
Put it into context next time, this isint just a simple ass kicking like McCain took. It is a lot more than that. Your entire ideology is quickly dying, many conservatives (new Libertarians, Contitutional Conservatives, etc.) have all learned to adapt and improvise.
If you earned the Ron Paul vote you would have won, fortunately that was nigh impossible. That must be pretty damning for you I know, but look at some statistics. Then look at demographics, changes in the youth vote etc.
It's all very much apparent to critical thinkers in both parties which is why you have a lot of Republicans talking about change.
Have fun.
And are Republicans doing this to all women? Or only a subset of women who are engaging in what Republicans consider to be murder?
Or are liberals so unable to understand other ways of thinking that they really cannot understand the difference?

Agree. It is the democrats waging a war on women, look at all the single women on welfare and the democrats think this is alright
The democrats wage a war on women not the republicans

And yet they gained seats in the house and managed to get 48% of the vote putting up the worst candidate in history. Ya, they are finished.....
The worst candidate in history is always the most recent GOP candidate.
The days when the GOP could win by using identity politics to get only the white vote are over. White men no longer rule the country. It's now ruled by a diverse group of people.
Romney's support was 90% white. How did he get that? Identity politics, offering old white people the most government stuff and denying it to everyone else. Obama's coalition was very diverse and broad. That's how you win elections these days. The KKK strategy doesn't work anymore, Republicans.
Is this the so called landslide popular vote you are talking about?
Popular vote
57,125,465[R] vs 57,350,592[D]
Not even 1% there.
You forgot one thing: electoral vote 332 to 206
The margin is going to be even wider in the future. Especially when Texas goes blue.
Take a seat!
The prediction is Texas is going blue in less then 7 years and the Republicants will truly be fucked....

Texas results (Rep-Dem)
2008 55-44
2012 57-41
But hey don't let facts get in the way of your leftist circle jerk
LOL which election was this supposedly from?

Did the person that made that prediction also predict that Scott Walker was going to lose the recall vote?
The inner city and border city Hispanic vote may go predominately Democratic however, the Hispanics that are doing well and living in the suburbs vote tilted towards the Republicans. The Texas Republican party also has quite a few Hispanic members.
