LOL, sure whatever you just keep waiting a few more decades to put your good ideas into place. They're so good that you won't implement it for yourselves unless and until the red states (the ones you're already claiming to subsidize) are forced to as well.

Meh, they make the most sense if we all go together so no thanks! Also, there's no 'claim' to subsidy, it's all there in black and white. Hopefully someday conservatives are able to stand on their own two feet without help from the more competitive liberal areas and can start to repay the favor!

Here’s an even better one, Democrats raise their state and local taxes to the levels they advocate federal taxes to be raised to in order to fund their social welfare dreams. Many of the citizens of those states and cities flee to lower tax jurisdictions and refill those areas mentioned in OP. Everybody’s happy and gets what they want, the end.

Educated socialist folks don't want to live in the shitholes the uneducated Trump voters reside in, they are smart and know there are no jobs and no future there. I hate to say it, but this trend of the blue areas raising up the red areas and creating more jobs is great except for the rising tide raising all ships. I just wish the ignorant bastards get what they deserve when it comes to social programs and quality of life, and their ships sink in the draining swamp.

That's exactly my point, you blue cities need to raise your own tax revenues that don't need to be shared propping up the trogolodyte red state deplorables. Finally unlike @fskimospy maybe your side is starting to get it.

Pretty clear that 'my side' has gotten it for a long time. That's why 'my side' is home to almost all of the most economically successful areas in the US. We're trying to teach 'your side' how to emulate our success. Some people are just hard headed though. ;)

About 8PM Pacific time on election night as it was becoming clear that Hilary was losing to _____, a major TV broadcast network had Michael Moore in the studio and he was glum as could be. Being from Flint Michigan and having made a documentary about the election cycle in progress he had his finger on the pulse. He said the people who voted for _____, the working people who were hoping for an economic renaissance from it were going to be bitterly disappointed. I just hope that happens sooner than later so we can escape a 2nd mis-administration.

Sheesh. Are Republicans lemmings?
Yes they are.

Whatever works. Seems kind of unfair to have the utopian social welfare dreams of blue cities be permanently kept on hold because the federal legislature can't pass the needed laws. There's little need or reason to wait for places like Kansas or Utah to come around when SF and NYC can pass their own 50% tax rates and spend away on social welfare, universal healthcare, and the like.
How did that tax cutting for the rich work in Kansas??
