I'm sorry, but if it used to work, and doesn't work now, and is obviously "discriminating" against Firefox, then something definitely changed, and it wasn't for the better. :frown:

Given the track record with the management of this software, I've come to the conclusion that if we really like something, we should bitch about it, and it will stick around forever. If we don't like something, we should ooh and aah over it to no end, and it will be gone at the next update. ;)

Also for some reason when I set it to IE it the reply box is still missing it will only reappear when set to Opera.

Tools --> Extensions --> Right Click "User Agent Switcher" --> Click Options --> Uncheck "Reset the user agent when the browser closes (recommended)"

okay I did that and I do not see that option. I'm using version 0.6.3

Oh, they got rid of it in 0.6.3, it's in 0.6.1.

It looks like an issue and they (fusetalk) not us (anandtech) will have to address it.

I hate so say it, but why is everything's Fusetalk's fault? You are the master around here...the one to talk to. I am pretty much getting sick of things being blamed on a third party. That would be like my best friend banging my sister, then him telling me to ask my dad why my sister was raised with her morals.

We log on to Anandtech.com, not fusetalk. If FT cannot do the job, then change things. Oh wait...don't you work with or for FuseTalk?

Get a grip, it's just the reply box. I'm sure it can be fixed.

The quick reply box isnt the issue, its the way we always get blown off when there is an issue. I have been around for a while and have seen this happen many times before.

Jason has bigger things to deal with than us pissant members of AT.

Hmmm...I could have sworn the reply box showed up earlier in the day. I'll just have to click on the reply button like everyone else. No way I'm going back to IE.

okay I did that and I do not see that option. I'm using version 0.6.3

You have to first EXIT FireFox, re-launch it, look under Tools it will be there.

IT WORKS!!!

In 0.6.3? I didn't see it, so I downgraded back to 0.6.1.

I had to downgrade to 0.6.1 in order to have the option. Funny the newer version has less options.

Well that explains that...I just noticed it and almost started a new thread as only one thing came up from my "quick reply" search.

bah.

Exactly.

Jason, you are NOT setting a good example by saying here that it is a FuseTalk problem, when you are one of the people who DESIGN FuseTalk

I don't know what the hell happened, but we used to be able to talk to you regarding problems with FuseTalk, and they would get fixed. However, now everything gets fobbed off as "Not our problem". You work for FuseTalk, and all you are doing is making your company look worse and worse.

Over the past couple of years (since you stopped being Zuni), the quality of FuseTalk has gone down the sh!tter.

People here aren't stupid, we know that you work for FuseTalk, and we would appreciate just a little respect when we tell you something is broken. Especially since it seems to be you that breaks it/removes it in the first place. Hell, things like shortcut keys for Firefox (Ctrl + R for reply etc) WE have given you the code for, and you haven't implemented it. A couple of years ago that code would have been in FuseTalk so quickly we'd wonder if you were a human or a robot. Now we have to wait months for fixes to problems, and we should just go jump if we even dare to ask about new features

Well in the meantime you could just use regular reply, it's not that bad.

Or, in the meantime, people could just stop fvcking up fusetalk and own up to their problems.

Agreed.
Gone in Konqueror 3.3 as well, I tried changing the user-agent to a bunch of things, didn't work.

Like BBWF said sometime, Fusetalk tries to present itself as a serious enterprise package, but if these forums are any indication, it's more like someone's halftime hobby project.

I go to that site, and every time I move my mouse I get a Javascript error using FF 1.0
I have to ctrl+F4 to close the damned tab.
It seems the website is broken, as well as the product.

Cheers.

What kind of low-priority problem gets 70+ responses in the Forum Issues forum, as well as several locked threads in the Off Topic forum? This is obviously one problem that many people care about due to the sheer volume of responses. I think many people have the mindset that if they could fix this feature, they would.
