Heh... yet another "feature"

Dammit why can't anyone seem to understand that the majority of the cool features that everyone loves about FuseTalk ARE THE ONES THAT GET REMOVED WITH NO FRIGGIN REASON. :|

Probably the ppl that it gets sold to don't use firefox. . .

It was not removed for those that stepped ahead and made assumptions..

It looks like an issue and they (fusetalk) not us (anandtech) will have to address it.

If you use User Agent Switcher to tell Firefox to report itself as IE it works. Someone doesn't like firefox? :|

It's happening only in FireFox, not removed guys.

But telling Firefox to tell the forums that's it's IE makes it show up. Meaning they changed something to not allow it to show up in Firefox.

Using Safari, it's gone too. I don't know why this is "low priority" - quick reply is a very important part of the forums.

Hey, there it is if I use the User Agent Switcher extension and tell it to spoof IE. Did Fusetalk get a recent injection of Microsoft funding?

It appears that it ONLY works with an IE useragent. Using something completely BS and made up produces the same results.

Using Firefox with a Firefox user agent, and I'm typing this in Quick Reply right now.

Though I am browsing through proxomitron...

Also, this appears to have crept in with the update to quickreply that added the "PREVIEW" button - I've never seen it before (unless IE users have had it for a long time)

Is there any way to set up default to be Opera 7.54 instead of having to manualy changing it everytime I restar the browser.

Also for some reason when I set it to IE it the reply box is still missing it will only reappear when set to Opera.

edit:
I'm looking at this thread in IE and the quick reply box is also missing.

Tools --> Extensions --> Right Click "User Agent Switcher" --> Click Options --> Uncheck "Reset the user agent when the browser closes (recommended)"
