How long did it take you to recieve your replacement mouse after you faxed your request?

Thanks for posting this!

I bought a Intellieye 1.0 mouse way back for a lot (for a mouse) of money, and found it great.

Then it stopped working, and in spite of everything I tried, I couldn't fix it. It never even occurred to me that it might still be in warranty, so I just stuck it in the back of a cupboard, and got a cheap ball mouse replacment.

From shipping information it looks like I should have a new intellieye mouse in the next couple of days!

Yes you will have your new mouse in a few days. I to had the 1.0 and they sent me a new one. It took about 2 weeks but that was because it was back ordered. I was happy to find it on my door via airborn on day when I came home. It was the mouse with the normal 2 on top and 1 on each side to program for other uses. I use it the way it came program for the forward and back buttons when surfing the net. Thanks to you the original poster who posted this. My mouse was on its last legs......acting funny at times.

*Kamazon Points and laughs*

Haw haw! If you send me a pic of your bottom I'll put it on the net.

Thanks... my mouse (I'm thinking it's my mouse... someone also seems to have changed a bunch of settings on my computer) just started acting screwy last night. I was going to go out and buy a new one (and probably will), but it'll be nice to get a replacement for the broken one.

I sent mine in a few weeks ago and got the package 2 weeks later, not bad.

But my Intellimouse Trackball (First Generation) is really is busted and I want it replaced. So they sent me the TrackBall Optical (in retail packaging), neato! But that controller sucks, the thumb is the least dexterous finger you have and they expect you to control with it?

I'm just sad, I really want to get a couple more Trackball Explorer's, but they're getting hard to find. Believe me, if you start with one you wont go back to other controls. Bunch of my friends ended up using them too... (Rock's with CS and first person shooters)

I already have the Trackball Explorer (optical), but I still prefer the O.G. one. What sucks, with the new one, I cannot make a straight line from one end of the screen to the other, it's a piece of overpriced sh!t 🙁

My Intellimouse 1.0 bit the dust about 3 months after I bought it. It's been collecting dust for years. Thanks to this thread I now have a brand new Intellimouse 3.0. Now I can bury the old one in the back yard next to Butch. It can finally rest in peace. 🙂

I just wanted to say thanks - I bought the intellimouse explorer when it first came out, and while it lasted for about a year - things were down hill from there unitl the left mouse button just stopped working alltogether, being the pack rat I am I kept and now I have a new one on the way! Awsome!

I just phoned 1-800-360-7561 to get a replacement for my Intellimouse and the guy said no dice as it was no longer under warranty. He said my mouse was more than three years old and was only warranted for three years. What a bunch of BS!

I've got a Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro. Anyone have any luck getting one of these replaced? It's retail too and some of the keys no longer work.

does this work with microsoft mice that came with system purchases from say dell for instance?

had mine 2 months and the left button is stickgin already

OEM's you gotta contact the manufacturer
Microsoft won't cover those 🙁

I tried when my Intellimouse started crapping out, but they said I should contact the place that sold it to me

I just called and I am getting a new keyboard as well. Natural Keyboard Pro🙂
When I get to work, I just have to fax in the Mouse info so I can replace my Intellimouse Explorer.

I got two different versions... first time I called up the guy said no go because it was older than 3 years, I called back and the other guy said no problem. He also said just to fax them the info, there was really no need to call.

I've actually tried this too. But I used a different number. I had to talk to a tech support guy and explain that my mouse didnt' work. The first guy must have been a n00b or really liked his job. He asked me like 10,000 questions and then we got disconnected. I called back and talked to another guy. After 2 questions he said, OK it's broken we'll send you a new one. Easy as that.

I think I'll go ahead and fax my request in too. Can't hurt.

Dude.. nobody should be abusing this if their mouse is working. [Uh.. did I just defend Microsoft? Go figure.] There was a serious defect with the original Intellimouse Explorer [of which I had one replace years ago]. The cord makes a 90' turn internally right before exiting out the top, and with use, the wire gets frayed internally from the bend. Admittedly, this is good info, but hopefully people will only us it if their mouse stopped working. I henceforth busted out the solder and fixed the old mouse up, but the parts cost about $5. I'm at least glad to hear they are checking that you have an original Intellimouse Explorer with which this problem happens before sending stuff out....

There's my non-fake contribution to April 1st... 2 days late : p
