I'm not sure if this is common practice or not.
I was hired onto a team for a 3-month period, contract-to-hire. My three month period is nearly over, and the company wants me to continue working as a full time employee.
They are expecting (trying) to transition me in a manner where there will be no renegotiations of any sort. (They said when I first came on that if I was hired full time I would receive benefits after my contract, etc).
I'm wondering if it is common practice, and just, to attempt a renegotiation at my salary.
Anyone have experience with this?
