This is seriously one of the saddest threads I've read on this site. Worse then sick family members, lost jobs, breakups etc.

I mean... really... flagging youtube videos as a hobby... I'm sorry.

Well-said. Accurately captures what I was going to say. That and various other comments about the OP being a self-righteous jerk. I'm 101% for being a spam assasin. Everything else he's doing is just against the spirit of the internet and America itself. OP is a red commie!
Except the OP is doing the Lawd's work, so he's entirely infallible.

This is your gateway to an alternate universe, a superior dimension -- the world of Dobbs Awareness, compactly encapsulated in but a few thousand pages of art and text.

I kind of get what you're doing. Removing spam is a noble, albeit impossible, eternal, and ultimately fruitless endeavor, but it's nice that people are doing what they can to limit it. But flagging things that you personally find objectionable is a little too moral crusader-y, and that behavior I find repulsive. So, you know, you're like 75% cool and 25% kind of an asshole. Not a bad average, to be honest.

Now, the bigger question: Why are you doing this for free?

I find myself slow clapping for the OP. Thanks to him/her, there is less spam on youtube.

Now if only youtube could pay you for your work.

Or, he could go out and get a real job instead of being a creepy moral policeman.

I don't understand what spam on youtube means... I'm never randomly brought to a youtube video I don't want to watch, nor do i receive emails linking to random spam videos.

How about you work on getting youtube to not have a 30 second ad at the beginning of every video? Thats a much bigger problem than video spam.

Isn't jesus the same guy who invented the Internet? :hmm:

Wait, there are fundie christians who believe in karma?

If God created everything, then you are working against God's will and will burn in eternal damnation. It says so in the bible.

Something about this strikes me as Orwellian in the way you get pleasure out of seeking out things to censor, and how you probably satisfy some sort of repressed baser instinct by watching these videos while you satisfy your Catholic guilt by telling yourself you're doing a "good deed." Am I in the ballpark here?

I think you hit it over the fence.

Right now, my only payment is satisfaction. That and karma. 🙂

just to balance the karma being generated by this behavior, I purchase
de-sanctified catholic relics off of eBay and distribute them to strip clubs and brothels to decorate their establishments, for irony.
