Remember Zimmerman? Apparently he just pulled a family out of a car wreck.

In daytime, he’s just a regular fat mestizo guy. But when the night falls, he becomes Zimmer Man, a white Hispanic superhero, a vigilante who walks the mean streets of small Florida towns, blowing the brains out of black thugs and helping trapped people get out of wrecked cars. He’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector — the White-ish Knight.

 :D

First Holder has to give him the gun back. How long do you suspect it will take that asshole to finally relinquish Zimmermanns property even after a civil rights case isn't pursued?

No idea, apparently it's "standard procedure." Gun should have been returned to him on his way out of court after the verdict IMO.

He's certainly not getting it back any time soon. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/19/george-zimmerman-new-gun_n_3625699.html

Check out that author, Brad Thor, he wants to buy GZ any gun he wants and as much ammo as he wants!

Which is why you don't carry an irreplaceable gun. Thankfully Zimmerman was only carrying a Kel-Tec IIRC. PF-9's are sub-$300. Good gun for the money too IMO.

Almost convicted of crime he didn't commit, he escaped to the Miami underground. Today, still wanted by the Federal government, he survives as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem...if no one else can help...and if you can find him...maybe you can hire... George Zimmerman.

Excellent, maybe he can help OJ find the real killer.

Of course anyone being followed by him should just shoot first...well as long as they are in Florida.

Welcome to innocent until proven guilty. I'd rather OJ walk free than 10 innocents be locked up or worse.

And yeah, if you shoot someone and there's no evidence of murder (extremely hard to do), congrats! You've just committed the perfect crime! Fortunately both forensic evidence and eyewitness testimony supported self-defense in Zimmerman's case. Given a valid permit, he would have been acquitted in any state. Note that stand-your-ground was not referenced by the defense.

The evidence showed that Zimmerman was attacked and then defended himself after being injured. Perhaps you would insist your wife be found guilty if Martin had beat her and she defended herself with the only means that would have worked.

It would have been amusing to hear that the family had been black. I doubt Zimmerman had a chance to check out the race of the people before he stopped. It's a shame really because it would have been interesting to see Obama and the rioters ignore that. Sadly amusing.

Wow he learned nothing. You are supposed to stay in your car and let bad things happen. I can't believe he stalked those people like that. They are just lucky they had a car crash before he could murder them.

That's cool to hear, but unfortunately this probably won't change many minds amoung the racially incensed.

If I were GZ, I would destroy the pistol used that night and let people know that I preferred not to own something that signifies the messed up clusterfuck of that shooting. Could do something , like this recent act of his, to show he's not a bloodthirsty vigilante.

He should AUCTION it on eBay to help raise money that he can use to repair the damage to his life done by being wrongfully imprisoned and having to suffer all the defamation he's suffered and legal costs.

Tweeters took the opportunity to predict how the story might be reported on #MSNBCTonight

#MSNBCTonight: "Once again Zimmerman takes the law into his own hands. Reckless to go into overturned truck."

#MSNBCTonight Will repeatedly show the truck as it appeared 5 years ago.

#MSNBCTonight Edited audio of Zimmerman's 911 call "This is really bad...the truck is black."

#MSNBCTonight Chris Matthews apologizes on behalf of all white people for their love of trucks.

#MSNBCTonight #GeorgeZimmerman pulls family from wrecked vehicle after crash but WHY DID HE GET OUT OF HIS CAR??

#MSNBCTonight Obama talks about his truck accident 35 years ago.

Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.

We thought it was Christopher Dorner, but this prophecy was actually about George Zimmerman.

The words of Nostradamus always ring true eventually.

The family he saved is pulling out of press release events due to blowback from the verdict.

They don't want to say anything positive about George because of fear for their safety if they do.

Actually they don't say that, and I can perfectly understand their not wanting to become involved. IMO most of the country views the entire case as the circus that it is at this point. And the mainstream media's beloved "dialog" only exists when they shoe-horn it in. Everyone I've talked to, of multiple races, agrees with the Jury's verdict.

Excluding the black community of course. Most of them are going nuts and want what amounts to a legal lynching.

As one commenter put it:
70+ years old thinking I'm getting out of this rat race just in time, to frightened to thank a person that saved or at the least helped you family to safety.Sad state of affairs.

I don't know what most want, but the most vocal have created an atmosphere of fear.

Btw they did say they didn't want to have an interview because they were afraid of saying anything positive about Zimmerman. The Homers of the world are quite effective.

I don't think the controversy of racism was charged on Zimmerman personally. I am sure some folks were upset at him but the reason why the race was an issue wasn't because everyone knew Zimmerman was/wasn't racist.

It was/is a collective guilt-trip, each side feeling the need to defend. The ugliness was exposed for everyone to see. It was shocking to see those who crawled out of nowhere, or those who dropped pretense and removed all doubt - Here @AT and elsewhere. It was a much needed wake-up call for me personally.

Considering calls for prosecution for civil rights violations which this administration is investigating, saying Zimmerman isn't targeted seems a far stretch.
