I like having daylight after work, so let's change it now and then leave it.

Change it now(to real time), you'd lose after work sun. That's fine with me. I think it should be astronomically correct, and left alone. Noon should be set when the sun's highest during the summer solstice(Is that what real time is?).

What if they say that all people named brianmanahan will be deported to an igloo in Antarctica and forced to share it with TridenT?

I like DST as I don't practice it. The effect is to put the czar (corp office) one hour further out of my time zone. If DST goes away, I'd like Arizona to jump to PST to keep the czar far away.

I like having an extra hour of sleep in the fall but yeah, I think the whole thing is kinda pointless. It just seems like a relic of the past.

We're on the eve of destruction, according to liberal types, and yet people are whining about a one hour time change. I am far more interested in what's for breakfast.

Worse, shitty relic that never worked as intended.

seriously though, i don't get why everyone whines about DST

it is really easy to get adjusted for it - just go to bed an hour earlier or an hour later

set your alarm for the next morning and voila

you ended up with the same amount of sleep

Not for people with good internal clocks.

That's not how it works, I'm closely tuned to the sun, and regardless of what the clock says, the sun dictates how I feel. The world's gonna straighten out this weekend, and it'll be all good til next year.

I don't mind falling back, it's the spring forward that sucks. With fall back, I'm technically getting up an hour later for the rest of winter so I'm *slightly* less tired in the morning. Whether we moved the clocks or not it's pitch black before and after work though so that part of winter sucks but nothing you can do.

Why doesn't OP say WHEN to roll it back? Kind of important, I think.

DST ends on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at 2:00 A.M. At this time, we “fall back” in the fall by setting clocks back one hour (i.e., gaining one hour).
