Oh man, I go back beyond that! I had the whole slew of Commodore computers between the PET and the Amiga (wow, I wish I had the money for the Amiga back then.
I had an account on CompuServe with the 300 baud modem. Never knew how to turn off the duplex feature online. everything I typed llooookkeeddd lliikkee tthhiiss.
I had those cartridge games for the Vic20 like Omgea Race and those neat text adventure games like Pirate Island and a dracula game (open coffin, look lock, break lock, close coffin - oops, I gave it away!) I think the writer (or game company?) was called Scott Adams adventures. I think Infocom then took over.
But yeah I have the Vic20, Com64 and 128 with software, games, and hardware (like that silly light pen I waved in front of my TV set). I took the 128 to college with me (yup, I'm THAT old 😛). I bought the color thermal printer to print out my papers and projects. The funny thing is that I went cheap and bought the thermal paper instead of the color wax cartridge. I had to keep the paper in the fridge because it would discolor (like photographic paper), also my teachers would bitch at me to photocopy my work first because if I handed them the thermal paper originals they'd curl up and turn black from the heat!!
They were all boxed up and stored in one of my closets until that "weird" thing that happened at 12:01 01/01/00....
