Remember my car that was stolen?

A friend of mine found an auction for the same model supercharger I had stolen from me last january. Lo and behold, the picture of the blower is a picture of My car. It's exactly the same as my car was, every little detail makes it obvious that it is my stolen car in the picture.

I'm not going to post a link, because I don't need the auction ended early because someone from here decided to email the seller and scare him away.

I've already called the police.

Post a link when it is safe to do so!

Hey, let us know. Is the seller from the same area?

Hmmm, people can search for that auction knowing where you live. and what kind of car you used to have.

God forbid, in a silly attempt to make a profit, your car's manufacturer made more than 1 car just like yours. Unless you saw specifics like bumper stickers or mods you've made yourself.

he did aftermarket work to his car, and the photos show the aftermarket work, making it unique to his car or one modded just like his, which would be quite a coincedence.

reading is fundamental.

R.I.F.!!!!

get that bastard!!

After the police arrest him, ask for 5 minutes alone with the thief.

Take pictures of him after you're through pounding on him, and post them!

Thieves gotta learn you don't touch a man's car!

Baseball bat time. Wait, he needs to go to jail, not you.
Goodluck with getting the car back, maybe they haven't done too much damage to it, and let us know how it turns out.

Here's a pic comparing the ebay auction's pic (left) to an older pic I took of my car (right).

I made two mods to the car between the time I took that picture, and the time the car was stolen:
1) Cut the fan shroud shorter
2) Replaced the FMU (blue round thing mounted on the truct tower) with larger fuel injectors.

That supercharger is fairly uncommon. I've seen 1 besides my own in real life. The fact that it's on another white fox body mustang would be suspicious in and of itself. The big metal tube going through the fender doesn't come with the supercharger: I purchased from a seperate company and had it shipped here from Illinois. The rubber ring around it where it enters the fender isn't a stock part, it's a piece of tubing that I split down one side to keep from scratching the pipe. Stock mustang valve covers aren't blue, they're aluminum colored. I painted mine.

You'll note that all the modified wiring off to the left for supercharger related stuff is run in exactly the same way. Even the scratches on the inside of the fender match.

The sticker (blue and red) on the blower didn't come on it. It was added by the guy who rebuilt the blower for me about two years ago for $800. He's the only person in the world who still services these blowers commercially, as far as I know.

One more thing: even if any of you are able to find his auction on ebay, PLEASE don't post it, and PLEASE don't email the seller. I'll give the link to the auction after the police have dealt with it.

Hopefully you will get it back in mostly one peice. Since the pic was taken while the supercharger was still in the car maybe you'll get lucky. Although I must say, the idiot trying to sell it isn't too swift. It's amazing how well the pictures match up, right down to marks on the pipe to the intake. Did you change the wires before it got ripped off? They are the only thing in what I can see that doesn't match.

Speed

Nevermind about the wires, I see in your pictures that you did change them....
