I don't know about other churches but my church (when I was there like 5 yrs ago) they used money purely for maintenance of a building. Running a church/or renting it, would cost like 10k a month. Other resources were directed @ holyday celebration like christmas etc and charity.. Imo, taxing church would mix government+religion which we should not do.

Noone has been caught to my knowledge, it is against religion to do such things. The person or more likely persons doing these acts must have a message, an agenda. I did not come out and say it was a radical atheist because I know that would be irresponsible. I expect people to do the same towards people of religion. I guess not.
