My favorite is rhubarb strawberry pie.

But I also like all kinds of other pie, from apple pie to pumpkin pie. Pie is good. Yum

Hmm... That's a good question...
I have a hard time comparing the Eastern "religions" like Taoism or Buddhism to the average Western religion. The Eastern religions are more about self-control and finding meaning within yourself while Western religions are about looking up to some deity and obeying its orders. I remember Einstein saying something like Buddhism was the one religion in agreement with science. I'll look it up...

" ?If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.?

Einstein was a Pantheist, so it is no wonder he thinks Buddhism reflect Science/Nature.

But I think Einstein probably would really like Onion Pie (since it is german in origin)

Any savory pies that you guys like?

I know an Asian type of pie, is an Onion-Meat-Curry pie (more like an empanada). They are freaking awesome.

Moon Cakes are good too... Since the Lunar New Year is coming up soon.

Buddhism is the single greatest religion this world has seen and probably ever will see. Not that I follow any of them, but if I were to, for argument's sake...

The real question is, would Buddha eat a meat pie or would he go for a starwberry pie? Also what are the religious implications of eating a meat pie? And do you consider a Pizza a pie???

I've never been to Houston, so I don't know. Here in NYC we got tons of small restaurants which makes them really good. Empenada + hot sauce. Now that's the shiznit

Looks really good. It might be a slight drive for me since I live in Stafford/Sugar Land, but it sounds like it is worth it.

Can buddists eat meat? Bah, never mind. I don't want to steer this thread off the topic of pie.

See a pattern?

I don't think a very solid pattern can be derived from two examples. Throw in Pol Pot and you've got something.

I once read somewhere that Buddha said "It's not what your country can do for you, but if you can make a whole thin crust pizza pie with steak and cheese", so the answer is pizza with pineapple.
