The only reason the memo isnt a bigger deal than it should be is that nobody is shocked that the FBI is corrupt, it has become a tool to be used by the Democrats and the GW Bush type Republicans [neo cons] to take down opponents. Hillary Clinton was a insider so of course the top officials in the FBI worked to help her in the general election...big shock /sarc. Jeb Bush losing the GOP nomination and Trump becoming the GOP nominee is what caused the corrupt top officials at the FBI to try and sway the election to Hillary as much as possible [imo but this memo backs it up]. The general election was meant to be Jeb Bush vs Hillary Clinton dont forget, thats why Jeb amassed a so called war chest of 175 million dollars so fast before the first GOP debates, he just sucked so bad that he floundered like a wet fish...And he was a Bush to, who the hell wanted another Bush? Definitely not me, and i vote Republican almost always. If it was Jeb vs Hillary then the FBI probably would have stayed out of it since "their boy/girl" would be in the White House no matter who won out of those two.
Evidence. Its a bitch.

In terms of "inside the beltway" language, this is a hand grenade. It is more than it appears; you just have to understand that criticism inside the beltway is always cause for retaliation.

The fact that Trey Gowdy had so much to do with this and then announced he will not seek re-election during the squabble over this tells me that the FBI/DOJ probably has some dirt on him and rather than cave to their threats he decided to step down and disarm them.

I mean, seriously, there is room in what this memo says to warrant a special investigator and possible treason charges.

Evidence. Its a bitch.

When the incontrovertible evidence says your guy/party is busted, make up a "derp state" "conspirasah!" to explain it.

Now remember, it doesn't matter if the people accused of being part of the conspirasah were just recently part of your party, inner circle and praised with the rest of the "blue lives matter" "law and order" "rule of law" crowds. Nope. Because they claim to have evidence you don't like, they are now part of the illuminutty, derp state and lizard people conspirasah!!! Obviously!!! Duh!!! Wake up Sheeple!!!

Conspiring with the Soviets and trashing the FBI and ICs that have kept the nation safe from terrorists and commies is going to haunt conservatives.

And for what? A billionaire tax cut and protecting a liar and serial fraudster who wouldn't lift a finger to help you without helping him first. What fools.

Trey Gowdy's office confirmed to MSNBC today that he had *nothing to do with this memo.* Think about that for a moment, because he's the one who saw the underlying intelligence, NOT Nunes.

Keep in mind it was Nunes who claimed he wrote it with Gowdy, probably to give his turd memo an air of authenticity, but I guess for all we know he was lying about that too. Reality is it was probably Nunes' staff working with someone on Gowdy's staff to fact check and they did a piss poor job.

And so, as a PSA to every so called "conservative" -- "conservative" because Trump supporters aren't conservative, they are just angry racist white christians masquerading as conservatives eg Limbaugh -- I bring you the Bible of truth seeking, the Baloney detection kit(tm)

  1. How reliable is the source of the claim?
  2. Does the source make similar claims?
  3. Have the claims been verified by somebody else?
  4. Does this fit with the way the world works?
  5. Has anyone tried to disprove the claim?
  6. Where does the preponderance of evidence point?
  7. Is the claimant playing by the rules of science?
  8. Is the claimant providing positive evidence?
  9. Does the new theory account for as many phenomena as the old theory?
  10. Are personal beliefs driving the claim?

Yeah, searched for it and found it. I wish there was a follow-up on it.

I'm jaded. And while I'm inclined to believe it... I've seen too many political trolls to believe anything like this anymore without a person identified as the perp.
I think Florida man & Texas man are brothers in delusion...

Heard something the other day about Trump supporters...they all share one common trait.

It isn't race.
It isn't religion.
It isn't class.
It isn't how much money they have or geography or any of the things we usually point to.

It's a yearning for authority. A desire to bend the knee to someone stronger than them. They crave authoritarian control.

McCain sounds off

“The latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice serve no American interests — no party’s, no president’s, only Putin’s,” McCain said in reference to Russian President Vladimir Putin. “The American people deserve to know all of the facts surrounding Russia’s ongoing efforts to subvert our democracy, which is why Special Counsel [Robert] Mueller’s investigation must proceed unimpeded.”

Nice to see he's back on his feet. He just had more treatment at his ranch I heard.

Hannity: Mueller Probe Was Based on a House of Cards That's Now Crashing Down
"The FBI, deep state officials, they used a Hillary Clinton campaign bought and paid for dossier that was filled with Russian lies, Russian propaganda, totally unverified, to lie to a FISA court to obtain a warrant. So they could spy on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page."

So the interesting angle here is not that other evidence may have existed, but the claim the FBI and DOJ KNOWINGLY used false evidence, the dossier. This is straight up criminal accusations. I believe Hannity et al. are laying this on Comey and Rosenstein.

Also... something about these folks at the FBI and DOJ citing a Yahaoo story, sourced by none other than Steele, as a "separate source" to corroborate his own fake dossier. The claim is, perhaps, that the FBI and DOJ knowingly did this. It's pretty spicy if the accusations hold up.

Why would the accusations hold up?

Sooner or later when things get really reeeeaaaallly hot for Trump and his gang of sycophants they're going to come right out and explain it to America how they actually feel about this whole fake Russia thing, this fake collusion thing, the fake news media and the fake cover up thing by stone cold stating that: "Facts? FACTS? WTF does facts have ANYTHING to do with what we're trying to do here? Fer cry'in out loud what matters is what we tell you what matters! Is that so hard to understand!!!?"

Perhaps even what the Steele dossier provided was corroboration or context to information the FBI already possessed. Many ways to understand the underlying information in the Nunes memo very different from the conclusions it draws.

Damn thats some .. thats straight up lying isnt it? Or am I missing some documents? Hannity has done it, he has gone full retard! This shit sure is heading for a conclusion.
The whole narrative is so scripted Nunes-Trump-Hannity trying to pull off something neither of them has the mental capacity for.
