On what basis do you believe that?

Because the Dems are sneaky bastards. And the DOJ and FBI thinks it should be edited:

McGahn did not close the door on an ultimate release, and said Trump was “inclined to declassify” the Democratic memo. But his letter said Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Chris Wray had written a memo identifying passages in the 10-page Democratic memo that raised what the White House lawyer described as “concerns in light of longstanding principles regarding the protection of intelligence sources and methods, ongoing investigations, and other sensitive information.

Interesting how you did not have similar concerns when the FBI said the exact same thing about Nunes’s memo. What accounts for the change?

Republican Congressman Justin Amash tweeted:

"Both the Republican and Democratic #FISA memos should be released. I’ve read both memos. Neither one endangers national security. The American people deserve the opportunity to read both memos."

So..Trump claims it's "to Political" (Whatever that means) and classified information would be released because the Dems released it. And (as usual), that's a lie.

I have felt all along they should dump it all on the street and let it get sorted out. If you read my first post on 30 January 2018 here: https://forums.anandtech.com/thread...news-is-shocked.2535066/page-11#post-39283142

You will see where I expressed my first opinion on the matter. There is no change in my opinion.

Jan 30:

In my opinion they should release both memos.

Then on the next day:

Jan 31

As far as I know the memo is based on the thousands of classified documents that were provided to the committee. Either way I think both this memo and the dems memo should be released.

It must be frustrating when Trump's big mouth sabotages his supporter's narrative. He does it so often.

https://mobile.twitter.com/realDona...declassifying-very-political-democratic-memo/

The Democrats sent a very political and long response memo which they knew, because of sources and methods (and more), would have to be heavily redacted, whereupon they would blame the White House for lack of transparency. Told them to re-do and send back in proper form!

Note his first complaint. Almost as if the rest that follows is irrelevant.

So full of shit.

The Trumpland translation is this : "Democrats should have known that I would not allow the release of any evidence which disproves my fallacious assertions that the entire Russian investigation, run by conservative Republican appointee's is a liberal conspiracy to undermine my administration."

That’s not what I asked. You dismissed the FBI’s concerns with Nunes’s memo and are now not dismissing them. Why?

Also I love how he thinks a ten page memo is long.

I guess it just seems long if you can barely read. Lol.

Like when I said this in this thread:

That is because as we saw when it was released there were no sources or methods in it. Granted I do not Know what is actually in the Dems memo.

If I were in charge I would release it as written and to hell with it. Let the Dems own whatever is in it.

Yes, I am still dismissing them on both memos. You are confusing what I think with the reasons given by the White House and the DOJ / FBI.

Wasn't much to it to be honest. Certainly nothing classified.

It was a book report and Nunes did not even read the book. Jesus. If you were in school and the teacher found out you did not read the book you would have gotten an F

But instead you were perfectly happy being handed a turd sandwich and all you can is say please hold the Dijon

It was from what I have read loaded with classified sources and methods. It was a trap set by the Democrats if Trump redacted it they could point and scream about it. From what I understood he sent it back to the Democrats to fix it.

"release it all. I want to see it. All the information. We deserve to know everything"

you, ~4 days ago.

"apparently there was classified information. dangerous. needs to be edited!"

you, now, because you're a pathetic weasel.

No, you are wrong.

Go back read the thread and my posts again. I was stating why the White House decided not to release it. I have said all along My opinion is both should be released.

Is it obvious? The FBI has objected to the release of this memo, same as the republican memo. According to the brainiacs here on the DU annex, that memo was a big nothing burger so one has to wonder what they're worried about this time. Hopefully, if it is classified, we'll never know. What is obvious is just how fucking stupid and partisan you and comrade Jhhnn really are. Single digit IQ stupid with 91,000+ posts offered as proof.

Back to your TDS sufferers circle jerk . . . . enjoy the ritz.

oooo, Sp33dy's alt account/wife has finally decided to post, instead of just liking Sp33dy's posts.
