I have the academic version of office 2000. I bought it from my school for a reduced rate. With this reduced rate came stipulations that you could only install it up to three times and only on one computer.
being a silent rebel I have gone over the quota with my compulsive need to reformat my hard drive. Here is the problem. I already registered the bloody software. Now when I reinstall it the registration ballon comes up telling me to register the product. When I attempt to do so via the internet, I get a message telling that the software is already registered on another computer. It will not let me register. This is a problem because the version of Office 2000 that I have is under a time limit of 50 uses before registration is mandatory.
does any one know of a work around or solution? I am not wedded to Microsoft, but 10$ for Office 2000 was too good of a deal.
