Reggie Bush wants more money then the #1 pick Mario Williams

I would be extremely surprised if he chose not to play this year. That would be a terrible decision for him IMO. My guess is that a deal gets done sometime in August.

They should sign him to what he wants, but with a really sh1tty contract, and the minute he screws up yank everything from him. Or better yet, sign him and then trade him to the worst team in the league for a loss. Let him spend a few years with the Bengels or something.

uhm have you watched football in the last 4 years?

Bengals were the AFC North Champions, Bush is on one of the 2 worst teams from last year

Not really a football fan, eh?

The Saints ARE one of the worst teams (they got to pick second b/c they had the second worst record) and the Bengals were in the playoffs after going 11-5.

Edit: Dang it.....beat to the pwnage by seconds!!

He's already on one of the worst teams.

I don't care what the Bengels had for a record, IMO they will always be one of the worst teams in NFL history. I'm talking overall experience, not just scores.

Dude..I don't care if you hate the Bengals with all of you heart...he is still on one of the worst teams already. Moving to the Bengals would, if anything, be an move up (assuming Palmer can play alright this year).

Uhm, I am a Bengals fan and I know they were THE WORST for a long time, but they also made the Superbowl twice, there are a lot of teams who have never made it that far

Bush is completely in the right here. He is selling out tickets and bringing in far more money to the organization that whatever extra he is asking.

all the fans in new orleans sure love hearing about him bitch for a few millions when most of them lost everything last year.

I'm sure he really couldn't care less.

he needs to realize that ricky willams is about to get cut from a CFL team before he heads down the same road.

actually he exemplifies what is so completely wrong with atheletes these days, but i wouldn't expect you to understand that.

all sports stars are greedy, btw signing him brought lot of excitement and joy to NO, not to mention the ticket sales increases after he signed. if anything the owners are the ones being more greedy (if they promised something and are now backing down)

imho rookies should make the league minimum the first year. you don't go into any job making what the boss makes (or more in some cases), why should this be any different? it would definitely help teams stop wasting money on guys who can't hack it in the nfl. after your first year all bets are off. if you sandbag, well don't expect to be seeing any of that cash.

edit: in fact i'm going to email the nfl right now and see what we can do about making this happen.

yeah, but he tries to pretend like he does. he goes and does all the charity nonsense and this pulls this nonsense.

after getting 15,000 season ticket sales after he gets drafted, there are gonna be a ton of pissed off people if he doesn't play.

Fvcker better not go back in to the draft. I gambled and took him in our draft with the 20th pick. He's my main RB.

The saints are not the worst team, the Niners are.

Everyone else shut down the team towards the end last year, and lost their games, we were still playing a bunch of starters and only barely beat the opponents 2nd team. We have cut and/or lost most of the best guys from last year.

so yeah they should sign him then trade him to the niners.

then maybe I'll watch niner games. I know I won't be watching raider games, we'll be blacked out.

He'll sign though. The Saints will cave. As much as the owner is hated, not getting it done will further resentment and he's going to have trouble paying the bills if people don't show up.

Sure he benefit and use it as an excuse to force the other owners to allow him to move elsewhere but losing money isn't something he'd want to do
