Well not really. Tom Brady is 40% talent, and 60% a product of Bill Belichick's system. Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL.

By that exact logic, you would be saying that Branch is better than Holt.

Yes, thats just straight GENIUS. Compare numbers between a running back and a quarterback. Wow. You sure showed me.

Bush is a better player, end of story. Young is going to be an NFL bust of Ryan Leaf-like proportions. He's a slower Vick.

Young will bust. Bush will do ok.

You can't make it in the NFL without a quick-decision up-tempo passing game. The NFL is too fast for running quarterbacks. So unless Young can develop that type of passing game, he will succeed. Bush is already proving himself...his first game he accounted for 141 yards of total offense...and he can only get better.

If he did receive it, he should not have been on the field. If he is not on the field then he probably wouldn't have won the Heisman.

Same. They don't do anything to the past records of anything, they only punish whomever was involved.

Yeah, Steve Young was quite the bust.

Garet Jax, you missed part of his post...Steve Young was capable of doing this thing called "throwing", as evidened by his absurd completion percentage and passer rating.

Vince Young ended up with the #3 passer rating in the nation. while not immaculate, certainly not incapable of throwing.

Vick was #1 his sophomore year when he left college, I do believe.

College stats do not translate to NFL stats.

young may go on to become a good quarter back in the NFL but that offense that they run at Texas is hardly anything close to what they run in the pro's. If that was the case qb's at Texas Tech would be highly successful at the pro level.

Yeah, Steve Young was quite the bust.

Steve Young had the ability to scramble..which adds another dimension. Elway also had the ability to scramble...as did Tarkenton. All of these quarterbacks had an oustanding ability to pass the ball first and foremost.

thats fine. Vince is #1 in pass completion percentage in UT history.

We're not even arguing about NFL success. Vince might become a bust in the NFL, who knows.

However, those that think that Vince Young can't throw the ball just because ESPN harps on his strange motion are delusional.

I was suprised that they mentioned this story on ABC before tonights USC game. I expected everything to be swept under the rug by now.
