She's an adult. Stop making moral shit anything that matters to anyone but you or other moral white knights. What. 50 year old man and a 19 year old woman do is between them, I really don't care of their personal relationships. Consensual? Then no harm done. Upskirt photos are pretty bad, but can you prove he took any? I can go find ten thousand Upskirt photos and upload them claiming I took them, doesn't make it true.

Agreed. Anyone who doesn't think that is hawt is just lying to themselves any way. Not saying I would ever do that, but its hawt to think about it

Let me get this straight, this guy moderated forums that violated the privacy of young women and you're complaining that his privacy was violated after being outed as the creeper he is?

He doesn't get any sympathy from me.

Some of the forums he moderated were

r/Creepshots r/Jailbait r/picsofdeadkids r/n****rjailbait...etc.

Not sure what you're talking about there...hitting the happy pipe lately?

Until he answers the question he's a non-factual troll. That's all there is to it. He refuses to answer the question because he knows he can't win going down that path.
No, you couldn't pay me to smoke pot. I know what I'm talking about but I'm too lazy to dig up the threads. If you don't have a brother that posts here (or used to), forgive me.

mind you guys i barely if ever visit reddit. i find it a step above 4chan, barely, so I had no real idea until reading this shit get exposed who this idiot was and what he does/did.

Weren't you just white knighting for him?

I could have sworn you were. Something about having a sexual relationship with his daughter is none of our business....

Something about white knighting...

Something about not being able to prove he took any of the pervy pictures in the forums he was moderating....

preslove wants to be the moral police. Have at bro save the internet from creepers. I'm sure you are going to do real well at it. And for the record I never defended Violentacrez for what he did but I'm not going to pretend that I'm the moral police.

🙄

My name isn't Chen and I don't work for gawker. I've just been saying stuff similar to this:

I suggest you give reddit another chance, but avoid the default sub-reddits. Find the sub-reddits that are local to you, city/town/state/school, or ones that pertain to your hobbies. There's a whole side of reddit that is rarely seen because the 'popular' sub-reddits really dominate the traffic flow, even though their content is mostly shit.

For example, I routinely read r/Austin, r/Homebrewing, r/Coding, and many others, most of them dwarfed by the size of ones like r/pics, r/funny, or r/WTF. In general, the more people participating in a sub-reddit, the more 4chan like the content becomes.

Please. Reddit and 4chan have very little in common. 90+ % of reddit is awesome, and there are a few areas you don't want to tread. Its like comparing ATOT and BodyBuilderForums. They have nothing in common accept that they're both forums on the internet.

There definitely is a equilibrium in forums with having too many people makes keeping a conversation back and forth workable or unwieldy. I love slick deals but when a deal gets too popular the threads explode and no one can reply to something and if they do it is 5 pages later. That is why i really like Anand's forums, not too many people but enough people to keep content fresh.

straight owned

http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/18/us/internet-troll-apology/index.html

Days after the Gawker article, Brutsch agreed to talk exclusively to CNN on camera at a hotel room in Fort Worth, about six miles from his home. He said his employer fired him after the Gawker article. He had worked there for seven years.

In an email to CNN, Reddit said Brutsch had won a community vote for "Worst Subreddit" and Reddit now "regrets having sent the trophy." Reddit also said it banned Brutsch's "Violentacrez" account several times since last year, adding that it "regret(s) not taking stronger action sooner."
Looking back, Brutsch said his actions "were a huge mistake." He claimed he was addicted to Reddit and could not stop himself. The biggest thrill Brutsch said he got "was those meaningless Internet points," earned when "Redditors" voted for his posts.

creepshots is back under the new subreddit creepshots1, and the posters are using throwaway accounts.

Congrats on accomplishing nothing Gawker.

The goal wasnt to shut down the subreddits...that was never the goal. Chen just lucked out and found out who VA was.

Its so funny how you guys are losing your shit over this. Now I know Reddit is just a safe haven for pedophiles, perverts, and chantards.

I'm glad you're excited that creepshots is back. Really refreshing to know that someone is looking forward to pervy stalker photos being taken of unsuspecting women.

No. Completely different. The differences is massive. 4chan has its bads like /b/, but overall the community is much better. The concept of "anonymous" is an extremely powerful tool.

Reddit is full of dumbasses that karma farm, and such. Real uncensored discussion never takes place. 4chan has it. 4chan has dumbasses too, but at least 1) they stay anonymous so its much easier to deal with, 2) community backlash is stronger.

4chan is a much better site to go to. So much better discussion. The only reason people avoid it is because lack of censorship, and people can't deal with ideas that are different from theirs.

Finally, the most apt comparison I've ever heard is this. 4chan is populated by assholes who KNOW they're assholes. Reddit is full of assholes who think they're good guys, but really, they're still assholes.
