The chip on your shoulder or did you just reach into that grab bag of your ass?
You have no clue about me and it's pretty sad that IF you are cool as you make yourself out to be you would know Jello has not sold out and still tours endlessly.
DK sold out. Not Jello but then being stuck on the east coast I guess you don't see him around.

I don't know what crawled up your ass when you went east but you should chill.

Then point them out but attacking me on the basis you are so much more punk or whatever then me is plain stupid.
You want to compare old vinyl or something? WTF?
I have for years been in music etc. if the fact that I am "counter-culture" offends you or makes you jealous in some way don't take it out on me.
I am being myself and keeping it real and not tearing down others. Like Jello says last thing we need is backbiting punk-rock drama, this isn't gillman st.

Forget it Steeple. When people are Brainwashed they see things completely different.

Sort of like those Beer commercials where the guys can't taste their Beer and a woman comes along and changes out the Beer for one that supposedly has more taste, well the Hannity/Rush/Bush Regime has gotten into their heads and changed the Beer.

People here make me want to bash my head against the wall sometimes. But I do not mind. Red Dawn is doing his thing as I am doing mine. He can hate on me all he wants but I think it's a mistake to write me off when he has no clue about me personally, oh well c'est la ve.

Well if you are under an assumption that I am some young green day kid you are dead wrong.
flash back to 86 and you'd find a young misfits-DK-crass fan skating his ass off.
So your barking up the wrong tree there.

To fairly judge the number of ?nuts? you should add each pastor/priest as a psychologist as well.

Do the psychologists count that help the victims of the priest/pastors?

when you take a sub-sect of people and decide "they are inferior, I?m above them" you risk losing your self-analysis and becoming just like them. Your unabashed bigotry against people of faith is no different than unabashed bigotry against people of color.

But those who live outside of the world should expect those of the world, like yourself, to persecute at every turn.

Are you even capable of making a post without trying to push your religion on everyone? Ridiculous.

The facts of the situation at hand are trying to push my religion on everyone? Explain, please.
Like I said, if it works for you, that's fine. But it's not a miracle cure for whatever ails you...some of us would rather avoid it.
actually, it quite literally is a miracle cure for whatever spiritually ails you.

I understand we?ve got things that we do that we feel deep down are wrong and as such we don't feel worthy of holding faith in the Lord, but that's exactly why Christ came, so that we don't have to be worthy to accept free salvation.

Well a lot have flamed you.

SURPRISE!

I'm not. I don't do religious bickering, because I think both sides can get carried away and stupid.

That said, I don't think religion has much to do with this because if so, the teen pregnancy rates would be lower, not higher. Seems that more teenage pregnancies are indicative of a problem as well.

I just don't see God saying "I'll make you whole of mind, but your kids are going to get knocked up"

I think Glenn1's statistic may be accurate, but interpreting it's true meaning and significance could take up a life's work and maybe more.

Has anyone brought up the statistic that divorces are considerably higher in the red states than blue states? The state with the lowest divorce rate in US is Massachucetts. Explain that.

Or that the suicide rate is lower in the blue states. Hmmm... maybe all those psychologists are helpful...

i submit that it's an individual spiritual situation. The individuals that have spiritual problems that would send them to a psychologist often end up sending them to church when one is available.

The teen pregnancy rate is a great example of how the people in the red-states arn't "better" people, just more willing to go to a church than a psychologist.

same thing with divorce. People don't go to church and submit there lives to God because they?re getting a chance to have sex with there girlfriend, or getting a chance to cheat on there spouse. They go to church and repent when the personal and spiritual effects of those actions come home to roost.

If anything the hither teen pregnancy and divorce rates are a good indication of why those in states with fewer per capita psychologists end up going to church.

now, i don't believe that psychologists are useless, but in much the same way a worshipful life can't be replaced with a weekly psychologist visit.

3. Red staters are actually more crazy, they just can't afford shrinks because they're poor dumb yokels.
4. Red staters deal with it through guns and physical abuse.

Oh yes, when duty calls I too can spin ;)

How about one of mine?
1. While not as wealthy, red staters don't waste their money on overpriced real estate that will slide down a hill.
2. Blue staters are more urban. No sane persone would live in Los Angeles.
3. Urban centers attract more of the chronically ill.

I really think there are a combination of factors. I think #3 is true to an extent. I see a hell of a lot more people (per capita) talking to themselves on street corners in seattle than in spokane.

Just like anything, there is usually more than one way to solve a problem. Urban people hire professionals, rural folks work with family and friends. Neither is wrong, just a different method.

As far as the OP... Don't be a dink.

Wouldn't it suck if we gave the red staters their actual electoral votes... The east bay by itself would trump the whole middle of america I bet! And they call us marginalized hehe

How about if we Red staters gave you the actual food you raise? I'll bet that after about six months of that, you would give us all the electorial votes we would want. By then we wouldn't want any.

I've been to California. I wasn't impressed.

I've been there too. My daughter tried to get me to retire to CA. Good place to visit, but who would want to live there? I really liked my camping trip to Big Sur. Met some really strange Californians in the camp ground.

Let 'em raise their own kronic. The number of psychologists required in blue states and urban areas would double instantly. ;)
