As in, the crackers, or the aerosol cheese? Can't remember which is which...
I could have sworn that they first came out with a red tabasco sauce flavor and I enjoyed those alot. When they switched to green or green/red combo, haven't liked them.

It's weird, because I distinctly remember buying and eating on more than one occasion. I think I first had it like 4 years ago, at least 3 times, and then after like a couple of months I didn't see it anywhere. The packaging was different (had red tabasco bottle, not a green, and it definitely tasted better to me (hotter, just like the red tabasco sauce is hotter than green). Maybe my area was a test market for it or something. I am really hoping I am not remembering incorrectly or imagining it altogether, but I don't see any reference to it online, and no one I talk to seems to recall it at all or very vaguely.
If it was test marketing, it's possible they found that people like green more, but I don't know why they wouldn't keep the red one also for people who like a little more heat.

Interesting. Either we both imagined it, or they really did make it. I'm not that obsessed that I would contact Cheez-It, but they were my favorite snack and super addictive.

Lol, I actually tried that when I got a craving one time. It wasn't bad, but not quite the same. I'm guessing they add the flavor before they bake it.
EDIT: I may be crazy and wasting my time, but I have to know. I sent Cheez-It a message through their website contact form. Hopefully they will actually respond.

Nope, you're not crazy. They made them, and my Dad loves them. I wasn't a fan myself... a bit too spicy for a cheese cracker. I haven't seen them in Connecticut, though!
