All the great restaurants in this city, and you're going to Red Lobster. I just don't get it.Originally posted by: Coquito
I need a buddy in nyc to take turns asking the waitress over. Who's with me?
Sir, I would be much obliged if you would point me in the direction nearest where I can stuff my face without food poisoning or buffets where old ladies stick their fingers in. All for $18.xx plus tip.![]()

Usually around here your first plate comes within 15 minutes and then each plate you ask for after that takes 30 minutes. They discourage eating all you can by wasting as much time as possible. I guess that's to be expected from "The Pizza Hut of Seafood"

Hey! That's the perfect way to describe Red Lobster:
"The Pizza Hut of Seafood"
I like that
Now I know how to phrase it to friends when they suggest going there. Rather than my usual longer explanation, I can just roll my eyes and say, "you really want to go to the Pizza Hut of seafood? "
