I had lots of pop in issues with structures and debris popping in and out at random especially when turning the camera around rapidly. The problem goes away though when I play in windowed mode. weird.

Good game but boy can things get overwhelming at times! Vehicles all over, things blowing up, bodies flying when I blow stuff up...lol

Framerates are ok on my system, but the sound is so screwed up the game is more or less unplayable.

You have to change your Windows sound/speaker settings to 2 channel and it fixes it. 🙁

booo @ audio issue. won't be getting this game until everything is fixed...and the price drops significantly.

I just finished this game last night and w-o-w. This is the first game I can actually rave about since COD4. Fucking awesome game, very fresh in a world of very tired genres. It has a few low moments and a couple technical issues but given it's a port it is extremely polished. I give it a 9/10. I hope they make an expansion pack!

This is gonna make me sound like an asshole, and I really hope Scouzer doesnt take offense: But this game sucks.
Its like a crappy ripoff of Far Cry 2 and a handful of other rotten console games.
So many things wrong I dont know where to begin. I think I should just leave it at, not fun.
Blowing stuff up was amusing for about 10 minutes, then I started to wonder where the gameplay was. Sadly there wasnt much gameplay. Its a closed sandbox type game, which I normally dont have a problem with except they always suck. The only cool element is the destruction and that gets tired very quickly.
I dont even feel like this is a game so much as a tech demo. If they use this stuff in actual games I certainly see shooters changing a lot over the next few years. Though we seriously should have had this kind of thing a long time ago.
Red Faction 1 started it, then they just sort of forgot about destrucible environments for a while.

Anyway, I only got it as part of STEAM super THQ collector pack. Wish I'd been able to play a demo first. Now I know why they didnt release one.

The PC patch is taking forever to be released...sound is still screwed up for me. I find it sorta fun...more than other games I've tried in a while...but I only play like 30-45mins at a time.

Yep, good fun game but not much of a storyline. Don't go into it expecting Dragon Age quality voice acting, just play the game for the destruction and you're all set.

The sound bug was annoying as heck. Changing from 5.1 to 2 channel did fix it though so I can live with it. Annoying, nonetheless...

The single player is long, there's a ton of stuff to break/blow up and I'd wager about 15-20 hours worth depending on how quickly you try to run through it. Longer if you just like messing around, which is pretty fun to do in this game.

Eh, I don't take offence, everyone has their opinion and tastes. I really enjoyed the game even though the story isn't exactly deep like Dragon Age. It's just a lot of freaking fun.
