It's never a fair fight (e.g., a grazing deer versus a high-powered shotgun). There should at least be a possibility that the animal will kill you first.
 
hmm i have never seen anyone fight a deer that could be funny.


now sport hunting i agree is stupid. I huntbut i eat the deer (well havent been hunting for a while). people that hunt just for the fun of it make me sick.

I'm not a vegetarian. I eat meat and fish. I'm just digusted by people who someone derive pleasure from killing animals that can't fight back.

I would seriously consider paying to watch someone fight a deer - give the person a pocket knife or brass knuckles or something. I bet a moose would be too much though.

Totally different. With hunting.. you shoot the animal and it dies. Game over.

With fishing, not only are you not guaranteed that a fish will take your bait (it's up to the fish), you can always toss the fish back and they go back to their lives. With hunting it's over the moment you pull the trigger.

not to mention useng live bait (wich dies) seem smean.

It always pissed me off seeing shows on TNN or something on hunting. Wow, you can shoot a 1 ton (?) animal from the tree tops with a scoped rifle while masking your scent and luring it to you. Bravo. At least use a pistol for some sportsmanship...

bhah yeah it is.

i enjoy fishing. i haven't got to do it much this year. then again i usually go with my dad who moved. though he moved to mariam IL and there is a lot of good fishing down there.

if there was any good jobs i would move also.

You make it sound so easy... hunting is far more difficult than you apparently believe. You must be watching too many of those shows on television where they hand a high powered rifle to a guy, then release a huge buck 50 yards away, 10 feet out of the field of view of the camera.



Oh, and I hunt for bear with a bow... Me vs. 450 pound black bear within 35 yards.
