Recommendations for deer repellent?

to protect my grapes and flowers. It works, but it smells awful and is kind of a pain in the ass to remember to keep spraying it. You have to spray frequently for the first week or so, and then once every couple weeks after that.

The best option is a fence.

I've found that bears tend to scare the deer off. Can you procure some bears?

Up here in Michigan, we just use front bumpers as deer population control.

A four foot fence to a deer is like a 16 inch fence to us. If you think a four foot fence would hinder a deer, you're dreaming.

home depot sells deer repellant and it's basically rotten eggs, deer piss, and pungent odor stuffs.

You can plant some bigass rosemary bushes around the perimeter. That is sometimes effective, as deer hate rosemary.

Unless you have some of those crazy deer that get all high on rosemary. Then you're fucked.

How about a large outside dog. Would need a good fence though, if your dog gets out of your yard it could get into a lot of trouble.
