DOOM? nevermind that The original Wolfenstein will be awesome. Too bad it's not like the real old games where the timing is tied to the CPU.... :) Anyone remember playing that "Sopwith Camel" Flight sim that came out in the days of the 8086?

another vote for command & conquer: generals.

and the soon to be released expansion: zero hour.

EDIT: i believe there should be demos available for generals and other games posted here. that should help you make your decision.

Ummm, nothing really. It's just the fastest graphics card on the planet right now. At least for
Not that you need 500 frames per second in Quake 3.
But being able to run the newest games at high resolutions with Anti-Aliasing and anisotropic filtering, while still getting high frame rates, is kinda nice.

Falcon 4 SP3

Edit: Why the hell did you buy a video card without a use in mind? This reminds me of a time when I worked at Office Depot. Some guy came in and said "I just paid $4999 for a new computer, what software can I get to take full advantage of it?". I said "Sir, why did you pay $5000 for a computer you don't have a use for. If you would have spent $1000 for a decent computer, you could have a good system for almost 10 years. Now in 9-12 months people will be buying your computer for $400."

His computer? A 833MHz P3 with 256MB of memory.
