is pfsense or ipfw really that non-standard?
i want:
cisco call manager express (pbx, auto attendant, ability to route calls, sip) to cbeyond
50 phones - like 7960
decent firewall (dual-wan static) - ie cbeyond static 13 ip and comcast business 13 ip
high speed dual-wan failover (http/https/ping methods or combination tunable per wan port)
dns (to prevent dns failure when wan starts to go wonky)
vpn (dual-wan compatible)
providers provide the gateway routers (comcast/cbeyond)
throw a switch in between the gateway routers and dual-wan firewall/voice sip so i can push machines directly on the net or have the ability for dual-wan router to handle 100% pass-thru (no nat no firewall) without vlan tagging (physical vlan is cool).
I know an ISR will do this - but i am not assuming responsibility for the T-1's so i don't need that kind of power.
Any ideas guys? I get mad mad discounts on cisco gear - which is why i prefer.
