How much is shipping on a 503 for you?

You could have gotten a new 780 set locally for $399 yesterday I think. CC has it for $419 AR now.

eCost says 1.99 shipping and Handling fees of $6.95....

On ebay there was some thing for a set 399 pickup only.

But for 19 bux more might as well just go to cc store there web site says the one i go to has them in stock. Only thing is now i have to wait 2 weeks for a check from paypal...

With in store pickup can u pay online? If so i could just use paypals vertual credit card thing.

EDIT?: Damnit! tax SUX.

Unless you actually went to check out and saw a $1.99 shipping fee, I doubt that's what it's going to be. Their one rate shipping doesn't seem to apply to anything heavy.

You're asking if Circuit city accepts paypal?

EDIT: virtual credit card? I have no idea.

Oh cool. I usually had about $30 shipping or so when I checked shipping for large items.

Crap. I only have 400 exsactly so eavn if i got the money out of paypal it would still cost 500 bux for it before rebates and with tax... 100 bux i dont have.

Has any one here used eCost much? Are thay good about returns? Is there Reconditioned stuff come with all the retail stuff? ie remote any speaker wire etc?

I think the only way to get this is to get the speakers from vanns and receiver from eCost... Unless of corse i can get some money out of my mom 🙂

Speaker wire you will end up getting on your own anyway.

And that isn't a bad idea...the onkyo htib and receiver from ecost.

AFAIK the remote control and other things do come with the receiver.

So The receiver from ecost dose have the retail stuff? manual?

Ok now that the speakers and receiver thing is bacicly worked out i have a fue more quesions.

Ive been seeing people talk about speakers haveing to be "broken in" is this true? And for new speakers should i take it easy on them till thay get lossend up? Or dose it not matter.

Next should i get good speaker wire? dose it rilly matter?

Just want to know whitch would probly be better... :-(

I like that the onkyo set has a sub. Has more smaller speakers. hmmm....

Only thing I've bought from ecost was a new set of Sennheiser HD-280s for $60.

I don't know about their refurb stuff personally. I know some people have gotten refurbs from them here on AT. Some people have had issues with orders being cancelled for hot deal sort of items... price mistakes?
