I'm sure you have had your share....
Yes, I've ate my fair share of crow on more than a few occasions.

You don't appear to be taking this very well...perhaps, you should consider toning down the arrogance a notch or two. You'll be a better person for it...I promise.

I admit defeat what more do you want? Now we have a deadlock in the Senate so we can stop his radical agenda and also he is the center of an ongoing Criminal investigation. 😀

Suck on this Repugs.....

Just the facts….

It’s an investigation he had started and it’s not about him but in your mind. The dipstick DA has drug it on for TWO years! I would not doubt the SOB closes it soon now that this is all over.

Oh and we will fix the problem next election period... like it should be.

the thing that i dont get and kinda pisses me off is that the recall vote was never intended to be used for policy disputes.

corruption? sure
crimes? you bet
making UN-pouplar policy? nope.

it feels like a bunch of little kids all butt hurt because the school's principal took away recess and they want him fired because play time is over.

its just slimy and restrictions on when a recall can be used should be clearly defined.

Seinfeld episode on TBS late last night was the one when Jerry buys a new suit and couple days latter wants to return it because he didn't like the attitude of the salesman.

"What is the reason for returning this suit?"
-"For spite. I didn't like the salesman."
"I'm sorry we cannot return an item for spite. If you had said there was something wrong with the item we could return it."
-"Okay then, I'm returning it because I do not want it."
"Sorry, you already said spite."

😀

Personally I would not seek to legally restrict the recall process over this.

I agree that it's just a bunch of whiny children misusing the recall process, but I suspect that going forward the voters will be much less likely to support a willy nilly recall based on stupidity like this recall attempt. The people of WI are probably very sick and tired of all the recall stuff. The next group that tries to organize a recall there better have very good reason.

and the first 2K posts were the same.

Whining about how bad Walker was and how he was going to get tarred and feathered on the way out of town.

People will speak and not stand for his union busting.

Screwing the public treasury is a good thing.

Debt does not matter when the results go into one's pocket.

The posts by Ausm & Co were all about that.

I admit, I am having a good laugh over this whole thing because of the reaction by the usual suspects who were talking a big game when this thread first began. From their talk, I thought it was almost a guarantee that Walker was gone.

Fortunately, the voters of Wisconsin disagreed and kept him in office. Bravo!

That's actually untrue. Recalls have been used in policy disputes since their beginning, in fact those who created them to begin with did so with such a thing very much in mind.

I personally think that recalls are a horrible idea in all cases (as we have plenty of other vehicles to remove criminal/corrupt officials), but to say that they were only intended for what you said is not accurate.

We control the Senate now so there is no need we have effectively stopped the Koch bros Agenda with prior Recall wins.

You control a senate that is out of session until the next reelection. Have fun with that.

I'm just happy Walker got concealed carry through before the recall.

Yup. I came here to see how butt hurt the recall supporters here are.
It's funny how perspectives change when your side looses. They thought this would be a watershed moment. The Dems would wipe out the Repblicans in WI and sweep the nation in the Nov Election. Now it's "oh, it's not that big of a deal. It doesn't mean anything."

Oh no, it wasn't the voters. It was the Big Bad Right Wing out-of-state doners! You know, the ones under every liberal's bed who suck up money for a living and rape children in their spare time? Yeah, it's all their fault. Damn commercials diverting the faithful from the true path. Without them we'd have had this in the bag.

Ausm and others, let me ask this: when was the last time a commercial, poster, or little piddly sign in the middle of the highway with a name change your vote for you?

I'm not surprised that Walker won, but I AM surprised that it was a complete beatdown.

I am not surprised.

Wisconites have shown themselves to have no critical thinking skills and they hate America.

debi told me this morning that family members are packing up and getting out of there. They couldn't stand their Republican neighbors and co-workers before all this started and now it's a ton worse.

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention the inevitable boogeyman: out-of-state donors! Those poor, innocent, would-be Democrats brainwashed by the commercials and road signs in Wisconsin. LOL!

While I believe that campaign spending matters significantly less than most people do (once you pass a minimum threshold), you seem to be claiming that an 8-1 money advantage doesn't matter at all, and that's clearly wrong.

They are moving to Chicago to have the privilege of paying $5.00 for gas.
