just scored one at the Laguna store in Sacramento, CA. I guess they just got a new shipment because i went yesterday and they had none. But today there were about 4 or 5 (i only grabbed one).

I bought it, drove over to Kinkos to make a photocopy of the original receipt, drove to officemax to pick up a flyer, then back to Best Buy. The returns/exchange girl was cool with everything. did a 110% pricematch and got it down to 46.99. Minus the $30 rebate now its $16.99 + tax. woohoooo!

now, i've got like 4 receipts. i've got a photocopy of the original, a rebate receipt, the original receipt but the chick circled the 79.99 and wrote the date "3/7" i don't know why, and the price match receipt. Now, which one do i send in?

I scored one as well. Tried at one store, no luck. Tried to do the pricematch at the register and he was on to me. Went to another store and did the exact same thing and this time it worked. Did not feel like going in and out of the store. My son was asleep in my arms and I was gettin tired. Hope the mouse works well. My logitech corded optical has been working flawlessly.

question, i've seen this come up on other forums. now that i did all this pricematching, which reciept do i send in?

since i have 3, orginal, rebate reciept, and stapled to original is a pricematched reciept.

i figure just the rebate reciept since u can always pricematch after u buy something (up to 14-30 days) so going by that
if u priced matched later the orginal rebate reciept would already be in the mail?

i would scan it but the chick tore the mx700 part from my ad to staple to her pricematch receipt.

You might be able to go to your local Officemax and pick up a flyer still before they take them off for the new ones.

Being a poor college student without a car makes it difficult. All the OfficeMax stores around here are quite a distance away - need a car to get to em. :-(

This was a regional rebate deal.

My BB had no idea about a $30 rebate, no printed receipt. BTW I also never get any of the Western Digital drive deals. I guess we are blessed with the retarded BB's here in Colorado.

My bad earlier on the Q3A suggestion...I was running the 2.73 drivers, not the 75's that on there now. I think I'm not going to upgrade though because I like having that setting there.

I got 2 from the Elk Grove (Laguna), CA store. Those were the last ones. Quick and simple transaction

The deal is still on (if they have it in stock)!!!! I just scored!!!! First I went to OM and got the flyer and to check if they had any instock, they didn't of cource (none of the deals this week were left!!). Went to BB and got the last one, it was pushed back on the self!! Purchased it up front and went and did some errands. Went back and the nice young lady was very helpful in doing the 110% pricematch!! She almost gave me a price match to the $19.99 Logitech next to the mx700 in the flyer. If I didn't have the box she probably would have!! She didn't even call just did it and said to have a good weekend. This was my easiest and 1st pricematch!!!! Now for the reciept question for the 100th time, the pricematch recipt shows it as a return then a rering at the 46.99 price and the receipt number is different but is has the original number on it, as this is my first time doing this, is this the way it's done? Is everyone 100% sure just to send in the rebate receipt?? I just don't want this deal to go cold. Thanks codeyf for the awesome deal!!!!!

For those of you who are doing the pricematch. You receipt will likely show a return and and rebuy. To be eligible for the rebate, you HAVE to send in both the rebate receipt and your new receipt. I would also include a note saying what you had just done. This is based on my personal experience and also confirmed with a call to BB rebate center. Their computers will show that you returned the product when they process your BB rebate receipt.

If you have just sent in your rebate receipt, do not worry. According to BB rebate center you will have to wait for your rejection letter. Once you receive that, you can send of fax in the new receipt showing what you had just done. You cannot do anything until you receive the rejection letter, I have tried in the past before unsuccessfully.

It is if you took off the UPC.

I have not gotten a rejection letter yet, but I bought it first then PMed later. So I did not have to send the yellow copy.

now i'm considering if i really need it. i already had the cordless optical mouse that came with the logitech elite duo, but if these rebates aren't going through then i might just return it. I still have the UPC on it, which is why i needed another copy of the rebate form. Forgot to cut the UPC out and send it in :eek:

Hmm...no rejection letter here yet. Either way, $50 no MIR is still good for this mouse. I actually ended up having to exchange my open box that I originally bought. Thing wouldn't charge any batteries!!

Why would anyone send the Yellow copy of the receipt??? I used the copy of the receipt that is printed at the register for the rebate. Anyone who used the yellow copy is dumb because its a high probability that they would reject your rebate because of the low-low price after pricematch.
