man..anyone get the Compusa rebate for the apex 3201 Dvd Player? It said mail date 6-23-02, and nothing! AAAARGH! damn TCA they suck! Now I know why its crapusa
 
I just got my rebate for IMATION 10PKS OF CD-R MEDIA W/ JEWEL CASE from CompUSA, $30 rebate. Sent the rebate on 4/9/2002, got it 7/5/02.

Almost 3 months, not bad for CompUSA IMHO.
 
Just received the Western Digital 120GB 8MB Cache drive rebate from CompUSA/TCA Rebates.

Mailed: 5/20/02
Due: 7/20/02
Calls: 0
Received: 7/05/02
Turnaround time: about 6 weeks.

2 weeks early, with no phone calls, no problems. Yet another great turnaround from TCA rebates 🙂 :Q

Net cost for the drive was minus $8 after rebate and 2 pricematches...+tax.

I recieved my 50.00 rebate on my 32speed cendryne cd burner but they mispelt my last name by 1 letter. Will I have a problem depositing this in my bank account?
 
It depends on your bank. I have not had any problems cashing checks with my name misspelled at my credit union. Don't say anything to them and see if they catch it. If they catch it just say it was a rebate and those people can't type. If that does not work then bring copies of your rebate document and show them. If they still don't cash it tell them you want to close your million dollar account and move it to another back if they can't handle a measly rebate check. 🙂

i sent my stuff in on may 1st and it still shows not recived on there website.

mine said proceed at May 10 at their website (mail much before that) and still no check yet. So may be call to check.

Anybody been having problems with Microsoft rebates? I bought Microsoft Bicycle Board Games and Microsoft Bicycle Card Games, sent both rebates in the same envelope (I called and was told it was okay). About a month ago I got the rebate for the Board Games but I'm still waiting for the Card games. I called today and was told by some obstensibly ESL person that it probably wasn't in the system yet (despite being mailed in the same envelope), and could be entered any day. The rebate was mailed March 13 and I got the first check on May 13. I'm guessing she was giving me the 'run-around' because she didn't know what to do. To their credit, all my previous Microsoft rebates were received in a very timely manner. Any ideas on what I should do?
 
Can't hardly believe it. Just received a $10 rebate from CompUSA/TCA rebates for MusicMatch Jukebox. Bought it 03/16 and mailed it that day.

Did send an email when it failed to show up on the wheresmyrebates.com website.
Only received an auto reply, basically telling me to p*ss off and die or call them on the phone (my idea of fun - sitting on the phone with an auto-attendant telling me how important my call is to them).

Then today, out of the blue the check showed up - with my name spelled incorrectly. No wonder it didn't appear on the website.

After all my complaining about CUSA/TCA NEVER sending out rebates, I may have to apologize (well maybe if if receive the other TWO outstanding checks I am owed).

Has anyone gotton the Best Buy Rebate for the Radeon 8500 64MB card when it was 190-50 dollar rebate? I bought this in March, checked wheresmyrebate.com and it said my ship date for the rebate would be 6-9-02. I finally called today and they said it would ship out today... That seems kind of suspicious, that it would ship out the day I remember to call and inquire about it. I even e-mailed a week before I called since it is not a free phone number... didn't even get a reply.
 
Concerning CompUSA July 4th Sale:

I'm looking at my rebates here for the Lenoxx DVD player. There are two rebates, and each asks for the original UPC codes. Yet it doesn't say which code goes with which rebate. I'm almost debating just sending both UPC's in with the $60 rebate, so at least I get the majority of my money. Anyone have a hint?

Just received my 6 rebates from "wheresmyrebate" that were returned by post office. Very nice surprise since these went back to Jan."02.

When did you send your stuff in? anyone know of a number to call so i can annoy them.

so far they only recived Web-Rebate entry and i did that on April 30, 2002 that very next day i mail my stuff via delivery confirmation and lost the damn tracking number 🙁
