$10 for 24 pack of AA batteries

$20 for APC Surge Protector.

bought 12/5, received 2/10. not a horribly bad turnaround.

i got a rejection letter from hp saying OD gave a 75 $ off INSTEAD of a rebate ( from hp ) .. when the heck did they tell us that BEFORE we bought it ?

anyone else having problems ?

If you would have called HP awards center they would have told you that the rebate would not be honored. I posted this fact in this thread
 
I recieved my $12 MIR on Compusa brand 50pack 16x 80min cd-rs at Compusa from 11/20. Rebate was sent to New Rochelle.

Free is GOOD!!
 
Anyone get their Best Buy D-link DI-794 router $20 rebate? I called the best buy rebate center and they told me it was invalid. Then he put me on hold and said it was because I sent two rebates in for it and it was only valid for one. Said they sent out a letter saying it was invalid in mid-december. Never received. Then he said the check was sent out for the one that was valid in mid-december. Never received. Now he is escalating it to the check issuing department to see if the check was cashed. If not they will reissue it. What do I do if they say it was cashed? It is one of those stupid postcard checks that have steal me written all over it.

Also Staples said I sent in two Veo Stingray webcam rebates, when I only sent in one. Why does this happen? Do they reenter it by accident or are they entering someone elses rebates as mine? Got the staples invalid letter and my check though.

 
I just received the following rebates:

1) $29.99 Circuit City Rebate for the 100 pack of STI CDRs
(Mailed 11/28/01)

2) $15 Staples rebate for the PNY 50 pack CDRs with fabric case
(Mailed 12/28/01)

3) $10 Fry's rebate (via Avery Dennison) for the CD Stomper Pro
(Mailed 12/31/01)

Heads up on the FujiFilm/Circuit City Rebates; the deal was a $5 rebate from Fuji and a $10 rebate from CC; the cost for the 50 pack spindle was 14.99.

Fuji is excellent on their rebates; registered on line, mailed on 1-08 and received the rebate at the end of January.

Checked the Circuit City rebate website and nothing registered after 36 days; called the 888 number on the receipt and they stated that they have no record of the rebate. They take my name, receipt number, Program number, address, date of purchase, FCP number, and tell me that it will be another 6-10 weeks to process the check. They had no record and said that the website (www.circuitcityrebates.com) isn't used by them

What a scam; if you don't call in to check on your rebate, you don't get it into the system. Almost makes no sense in sending in CC rebates.
 
just got my $50 from the circuit city tdk fiasco, still waiting on the $20x3 for the rest of the rebates on this

Good to see that people are still receiving these, it gives me some hope (I still haven't received mine). I sent off an email to them asking about it today, I'm starting to get worried.

I called the rebate tracking number for the BB/Crucial rebate for the second time regarding my $8 check, which should be a $10 check. Now they're saying they'll email me within 24 hours. Here's hoping.

dunno, the email they have reply-to is webteam@plex-sys.com ... so i got no idea who handles it, and i really don't care as long as i get my rebate..what i dont get is what do they want from ME? How the hell can <I> make them validate my address heh.
 
Just checked with wheresmyrebates.com for 2 Black Friday rebates status from CompUSA-

$20 Bestdata modem rebate approved

$20 EPO 52X CD ROM - not in their system!!! Now they want me to fax in the info. No problem, I kept copies of everything, except, I did not copy the front of their rebate submission form. They want the rebate program number from the front.

Anyone who submitted this rebate, please PM me or post the rebate program number for the EPO 52X CDROM. Better yet - a scan of the front of the rebate slip.

The rebate center processing this is Iomagic, and doesn't have any automated or web status checking method.

 
Received both of the Motorala Surfboard Modem rebates from Comcast and Circuit City. Each was for $100 (Modem with QuickConnect kit was $199 + tax) and I was worried that only one would be honored. Both did arrive after about 10 weeks.

Circuit City sure mangles your name, 3 of the 6 rebates had my last name spelled wrong. One had 3 letters wrong.

They screwed this up because the $20 rebate was last month's and mine clearly stated $40 and was bought this month with this month's rebate form... Resubmitting we go... Oh Joy...
 
Got denied on the $50 Intel Pocket Concert Kit rebate. :disgust:

I sent in the upc/barcode from the bottom of the box about .5"x4" strip. They wanted I assume the clear tab that holds the end together supossedly it has very tiny words printed on it "Proof of Purchase". wtf?

I have an overdue rebate from Office Depot (30GB Maxtor for $30). Where do I call for information? I tried the number on the rebate, but the number was disconnected :|
 
Most of you guys seem to have received your rebate for the MS Intellimouse Optical Rebate from Staples.

I haven't received this rebate and I was wondering is this because I got the newer one (the one with the improved dpi)? What should I do to find out, call MS???

I called last Friday to complain (first # I think), and they said my 30.00 rebate was scheduled to be mailed on 2-15-02. We'll see. Hope that helps.
