Been getting rebates without a problem from RebatesHQ. They seem to come in bulk at the end and beginning of the month.

If you're missing a rebate, call them or check online.

I received all my rebates on the CC hard drive deal. 1 $10 check & 1 $140 check. That is the good news.

The bad news is that I got the same deal as Flash & J1m above on the Best buy k-byte memory rebate. I need to gather up all my documentation and call them. Hopefully I will remember to bring the stuff in to work tomorrow.
 
Buslink is a horrible company when it comes to paying rebates. Do not BUY their products, I am warning you guys, I had to have atleast 5 email exchanges before I got my rebate and that too after about 14 weeks. They basically will not pay up if you don't contact them thinking this guy does not care.

It is almost mandatory that you start following up after 6 weeks so that you have any chance of getting it within the next 8 weeks.

Avoid rebates from them like the plague.

PS: I bought a VEO Web cam from BB and it had a Mfg rebate for which is 14 weeks since I submitted the rebate, I called them after multiple email exchanges and they said they are still processing, what a bunch of BS. Makes Buslink look like a six sigma company.

Dell does not honor the rebate, yet the rebate link is on their web site.
 
Finally got a response about a Viking/TCA (New Rochelle) $20 rebate. All it took was mailing them the same request three times, complaining to both the NY and CA attorney general's office, complaining one more time to the NY Attorney General and finally complaining to the Better Business Bureau. Up until today, TCA "had no record of my rebate" even with all the above complaints and submissions. And to top it all off, I still have to wait 8 more weeks to get my rebate. These guys are pure sleaze. What even makes it worse is I talked to the same sleazy customer service rep everytime I called.

Stay away from TCA/Viking rebates. They will flat out lie through their teeth about not receiving your rebate.
 
Does anyone have a copy of the Western Digital / Circuit City 120GB - $80 rebate form?

Stupidly I never made a copy of it, and they want it cuz they're lying about never receiving the first one.

In the future you could go over to fatwallet.com, send a polite PM to the CEO of TCA (who has a thread in the rebate forum there) and get the whole thing taken care of without all the work and angst. Works for me.

I am glad I complained to both the NY and CA Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. TCA has a terrible system for taking care of rebates. I've dealt with other rebate companies and many of these will take your information right over the phone the first time you complain about a rebate. TCA doesn't do this. They don't even keep track of the fact you called and complained. You have to resubmit everything and hope it doesn't get "lost" again. By the way, "lost" is a politle way of saying TCA threw your request in the trash, which is what I think happens on a regular basis with these bozos. It is nice you are on a first name basis with the TCA CEO, but I dare you to try and contact these bozos through normal channels, such as e-mail on the Internet.
 
Just trying to give you a faster, easier way to resolve your problems. If you enjoy all the resubmitting and filing complaints with several agencies and then waiting for results from them and then waiting for 8 more weeks, go right ahead!

FYI... I called them end of last week. Usual story, "please resubmit by fax with all the documentation explaining that you submitted the only UPC code you could find. It should show up on our website within 10 days, then expect the rebate in 6-8 weeks". Damn these people. It weren't for so much money I wouldn't bother.... but then I guess that's what they rely on.
 
Has anyone seen either of the two $30 rebates on the 80G Maxtor HD from Staples (rebateshq)? My first has shown as received since 6/4/2003 and has said "should be mailed within 30 days" since then - now it's heading towards 2 months since I sent it in. The second rebate is showing the same "30 day" status. I've had 3 other rebates that I submitted 2 and 3 weeks later (for lesser amounts - $10 and $13) all processed and the checks in hand already.
 
Beware Staples/Parago is dening alot rebates on the 160gb HDD from couple weeks ago...they have indicated postmark is 6/30 however the store rebate form that printed at the register states the postmark is 7/21/03

Anyway I am going to Staples where I bought and talk with the manager...I sent in the forms and they did not even read the form...I am so pissed

I bought it 5/19.
i saw someone else got theirs from OM... but no frys yet...

$10 for Fuji CDR from OM. This is an OM rebate via EasierRebates.com. Purchased 4/27, received 4/30 (according to their web site) but not posted there until 6/6. Check mailed 7/15, received 7/18. Took long enough ! I hope the rest of my rebates at that site are quicker. RebatesHQ.com seems faster for OM and Staples rebates.
 
Has anyone gotten their Logitech cordless computer accessories and peripherals -20% reduction at time of purchase rebate yet? I got this e-mail from LOGITECH.Rebate.Center@rebatesHQ.com on 4-25-03... I sent the actual rebate in january i believe and the current status is as follows

I received the first of the $30 rebates this week (Tuesday). The check was dated 7/10/03.

The second rebate is still showing the following status.

Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing and should be sent to you within the next 30 days

I also received a $10 rebate on the OM Fujifilm 50 pk CD-R this week for documents that were received by ER on 1 May. I am still waiting on another $10 check that has been sent by ER. It was submitted on the same day in my mother in law's name who lives next door. Maybe she spent it on beer! I find these Fujii CD-R's the most reliable for audio compatibility in automobile CD players.

I received second Fujii $10 rebate today (7/19). She did not buy beer after all.

 
Well, finally got all my rebates in from the WD 200GB Retail Kit + 256MB Simpletech Flash deal from dell.

My final total for both items shipped is $114. WOW!

The $25 rebate came in 1.5 weeks ago and I found the Western Digital $100 rebate in the mail today. I was slightly worried about the $100 rebate - never sent in one so large. I filled out and sent everything at the post office by the very next business day after everything came in. It took forever to get the cash back.

Just an FYI to anyone still waiting...
 
Lots of rebate checks come in past couple of weeks. Notably the OfficeMax multiple rebates--too many to list!

Maxtor rebate also came. Sorry so few details, but the point is that some companies do fulfill their obligations!

Well...mine have both switched from 30 days to the 10-15 days message, which hopefully means they're on their way.

 
I have a question regarding Cendyne rebates from OM via this rebate form: rebate

Has anyone successfully received rebates on 2 different items on this form from a prior month? The fine print says "Limit ONE rebate per person, household, family or address." This reads, to me, that I can only get a rebate for ONE of the items only. Plus, the entire form has only one offer number. I called the phone number on the form and the guy said that I could get a rebate for EACH of the items if I bought one of each of them. This seems to not agree with the fine print. I don't trust those rebate house CSRs much (you talk to any number of them and they seem to give you different answers to the same question). I'd rather hear from someone here who has received rebates on 2 different items on the cendyne Mfg rebate form from a previous month. Anyone?
