Reasonable amount to pay for rent

Richmond, VA far west end here with 2br/2ba with fireplace, washer/dryer/dishwasher and the works. Beautiful place in the nicest apartment complex on the nicest side of town, rent is $940/mo. and they gave me the first two months free when I signed a 12-mo. lease and moved in.
