Well, I had my KT7 and duron 600 running really stable at 113x9.0 (1017mhz) at 1.825 (1.88) volts and 3.6 IO voltage. It ran perfectly stable, well I wanted more, so I overclocked my Geforce, well it was already overclocked to 150core/210memory. So I downloaded powerstrip set the settings to 155core play unreal tournament for 30min or so, then I went back and set it to 160mhz core. Unreal tournament had gained 5-10fps in win2k this was great, then I go humm I wounder what my 3dmark2000 score will be, it freezes!
Everything runs perfectly stable but 3dmark 2000. If I put my geforce back to the normal settings 120/210 it doesn't freeze and if I put my cpu to 110x9 3dmark doesn't freeze. I'll all confused, then I go into win98se (I dual boot) I install powerstrip set it to 160/210 run Unreal Tournament everything works great, then I thought that something must be wrong with win2k, cus I ran 3dmark 2000 in win98se with my video card at 150/210 and the cpu at 113x9 and 3dmark 2000 did freeze.
Could of powerstrip fvcked up anything? Anyone have any ideas on what to do?
