I feel for taylor. she looked as if she was going to cry. But then what can she do at that point?

Nothing, because she has manners. I'm not really even a fan of hers, but I felt bad for her having to deal with that over rated attention whore.

can someone really be that stupid? maybe this is a conspiracy just to stir up ratings or something..

It's the mtv music awards, a music channel that never actually plays music giving awards away to musicians who don't really play music. Really who the fuck cares but 13 year old girls?

Truth.

It's mostly disrespectful to Taylor Swift and perhaps "country" music more than anything else, no way you would script something like this to take away her moment in glory.

thats what gets me. fine you want to say boyance should have won? if you win say so. but to do what he did was absutlutly rude. wich makes me think it is nto a setup.

According to sources at the VMAs, Swift was seen hysterically crying backstage after Kanye?s outburst, making it convenient that her performance of ?You Belong to Me,? which immediately followed the acceptance speech, was prerecorded. Wale, who is serving as MC for the house band, told the crowd, ?You can?t fault a man for speaking his mind,? which was promptly met by boos from the Radio City Music Hall crowd. According to our sources inside Radio City, Kanye was promptly tossed from the VMAs after interrupting Swift?s speech.

Awesome.

You're giving kanye way too much credit.

you know..it may have been a setup. seems everytghing happens to fast.
A set up just like during a fund raiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina when Kanye said, "George Bush doesn't care about black people." ?

Kanye is known for these outbursts. I don't think it was a set up.

he's comedy, I don't really like him but his actions are great, a lot of celbs smile and clap when they lose an award they're up for. When you know they want to go "fuck this, I'm the best!" He doesn't hold back, even if he sounds like a douche sometimes, he's not going to pull his words. I hate Beyonce and Taylor Swift so I can't really approve of what he did here. He's definitely entertaining.

this is at least the 3rd or 4th incident with him. There's a difference between not mincing words and being full of yourself. In this case with Beyonce, who are you to go up there?

The big picture is, Taylor isn't a typical MTV artist, and this incident will result in people who don't give 2 shits about her possibly buying her album. If she had won the award and nothing happened, the only people who would be bringing it up are Taylor Swift fans. Thanks to Kanye I wouldn't doubt if her album went to the top of the charts. Everyone will be talkin about this.
