I was told by by dentist to get an Oral-B or Rotadent due to my teeth building up calcium, so far at 40 have only had to have one small soft spot filled). I currently use a Braun that can take the oral-b refills, but it lacks a timer and I may be brushing too hard or soft keeping the brush from working correctly. The better models have a 2 min timer and auto-shut off/warnings when brushing too hard.
Anyway I am usually lucky when I need stuff so I came home searched for both and found this:
http://www.oralb.com/coupons/electric-toothbrush-coupon/
Until September 15th. Picked up a 5000 from Target for $152 shipped with tax after a 10% off coupon code and free shipping offered now.
I have had bad luck with Amazon on low priced items like bluetooth headsets and toothbrush refills. Can't believe they allow counterfeiters. So far I have had 3 fake motorola earpieces and one set of Oral-B refills that were terrible.
As far as I know any reseller is fair game though. I paid a $21 premium ordering from Target to be guaranteed I get an authentic model.
Edit: Inside the box are two $3 off coupons for refills and one $15 rebate for your next dental visit. Pretty nice extras.
