For the beta, and according to this:

For solid 60 FPS 1080p (max settings, no aa/af):
You need at least a 4890 1GB for a minimum of 61 FPS and average 67 FPS.
Lowest tested was around 30 FPS 1680x1050 (max settings, no aa/af):
A 5570 1GB did minimum 28 FPS and average 31 FPS.
Blizzard does a very good job of coding its games so that it scales well across a variety of setups. SC2 really doesn't take a whole lot to run really. I don't know what my fps is in this game but I haven't seen a stutter in 1v1 or 2v2s, haven't tried 4v4s as of yet. My setup is:
C2D E7400
8GB RAM
4870 (manufacturer overclock, Asus DK TOP) 512MB
Running it at 1920x1080 with everything cranked to max.
does it run dual monitors (ie: supreme commander)?
Will it run on Atom with Ion?

no aa/af?
unacceptable
You're all freakin kidding yourselves..
IF YOU WANT some solid 60fps like we're used to in SC 1, we're talking i7 at 4.5ghz+
I hope they do some final optimization to the code before launch, and hopefully patch it for extra performance. BUT as issssss ,, this game is daunting.
