Body Mass Index

http://www.healthplug.com/overweight.html

135 lbs. × 0.45 = 60.75 kg
(65 inches × 2.5) ÷ 100 = 1.625 meters

Your weight (in kg) ÷ Your height (in meters)^2 = Your BMI
So, for the example:
60.75 ÷ (1.7)^2 = 23.01

To fall within the "healthy range" on the BMI, your result should be within 20 and 25. Results both smaller and greater than these values are associated with significant health risks.

So Arnold Scharzeneggar is unhealthy?

ITS THE HUMAN BODY
and there are people saying just really ignorant things.
There is a difference between flaunting your bodystyle and between being comfortable with it. Apparently, all of the men posting in this thread are guys who when they go to the beach, rip off their tshirt to reveal a chisled set of abs and thin waistline, and thus NEVER expose their unperfect bodies to the rest of the world, let alone make a statement about it.
With that said, I personally find America Ferrara attractive (only seen those 2 pictures).
I think many of the people who posted should really consider what makes someone attractive and what makes someone repulsory. Some of the comments made are truly shocking to me, as in other places besides America, looks aren't everything.
Grow up.

Really? I thought we were discussing the cow body.
rolleye.gif

How is what we are saying ignorant?!
I know there is a difference, but my whole point is, she isn't just comfortable with it, she flaunts it too. Right, whatever you say, somehow we gave you the idea that we have the perfect male physique. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather see a girl who is overweight wear a short skirt and a top with no middle, so her fat rolls can bulge out? Or an overweight girl who dresses sensibly?
To all of you who consider her attractive, on my *superficial* scale of 1-10, what would you give her?
I am not saying that looks are the only thing that make someone attractive, but to think that its OK to be fat, is wrong.
You need to grow up and stop assuming that I am completely superficial.

I give her a 8.2

See, I think that is way too high.

since she wouldn't give you a second look anyway, I guess it doesn't matter

Thats right, she'd only consider a hottie like yourself. STFU you idiot. Do you honestly think she would end up with someone whose body epitomized the perfect male physique looking like that? No. You lose.

Lol,how old are you? I've seen many a pudgy woman with a real peacock of a b/friend or husband.it isn't that rare an occurance.

How does age have anything to do with this? Show me these couples you speak of. If this girl also had a knockout face, i could believe it. IMO she doesn't. It is rare around here.

I disagree with you. You are in fact discrediting many men everywhere such as myself. Who the Fxvk do you think we are, morons? I've both stood at foot length with some GORGEOUS AMAZING 'ilf'able ditzy women and haven't been intimidated and done the same with "less beautfiul" ones and been sweating my head off because they were so perfect.

Men choose the attractive ones because society has grilled it in us from childhood. I accept what I've learned. I accept that it's flawed. I will also admit, however, that following those notions makes me feel good.

I am this way and accept this. I like de booty. I will not touch the booty however if she cannot do calculus.

-AWESOME MIND

2/3? Hell no...she was everything I'd ever need if not much much more. Hispanic too;)

While I did judge her, I meant to judge the movie. The title itself is crap. If you can't see that, then you are blind. Its the same as saying "Real women are fat". Who said so?

Thanks for pointing out the critical flaw of BMI evaluation, but I think we both realize that it's widely applicable. Those who are in that kind of shape do not really have to worry about their BMI.

err... did you watch the film? The young girl is rebelling against her mother's belief that "real women" are skinny. It actually is a good flick-

I somehwat agree with you, but we do not choose the attractive ones because society told us to. Ever heard of natural instinct? In the wild the female lions choose the males with the biggest mane. Perfect example.

I see your point about intimidation. However, I guess I find it hard to be intimidated by a girl who isn't AMAZING on the outside. I like the booty too, but you're saying that you wouldn't go for a girl who could write wonderfully but wasn't good at math?

I watched the part where they were having the fashion show. I didn't know the mother thought that real women were skinny, but I knew she wanted the girl to lose weight. I guess by the definiton the mother didn't think she herself was a real woman.

Of course you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks about your wife. No one ever said you should. I am happy for you.

Easy, I never said people had to care what I think. I merely posted my opinion.

I doubt it. Fact is, even though I got riled up, that pales in comparison to you actually suggesting that.
