Real PS4 leaked.

Why do people even bother making fake mockups like these? If they already had a PS4 in that stage of production it would be coming out in a year or so. That's not going to happen.

It's just a render/empty shell of the design they're going for. Just because they have a final design in mind, or even made the shell without the guts, doesn't mean it's ready to be on store shelves.

I have no idea/nor care if it is or not. I'm just saying, it's totally feasible for design concepts to leak. Whether it's a render (which this appears to be), or just a plastic shell. It's possible.

It seems like they would have to have a general idea of the hardware and its size before they could have a mockup like this and I doubt they really know what hardware will make up the PS4 right now.

Yeah, I don't know how anyone could think this is real unless they were blind or completely inexperienced with game consoles.

Even if it was real, I'd be pissed, as that is a retarded design that is not only unergonomic but makes zero sense in any way.

This is so fake... were not in the "minority report" technology yet. We just got started implimenting dual touch.

If its real, the PS4 will cost high 4 to 5 figures, easily...

many designs are made before hardware stage, forcing the engineers to "make it work" to the design instead of design coming from the given hardware.


regardless, this isnt from sony i believe. it was designed by a guy named Tai Chiel but i doubt he works for sony.

PC friendly = no need for game systems to most of us reading this forum.
