The first two cars were clear to turn right but when this guy drives up the protesters are walking in front of him blocking him from turning right to avoid them at 0:13 seconds in to the video. They started beating and kicking his car. When he got past the protesters they chased him and he stopped and confronted him. How about the protester holding a telescoping police baton hitting the guys car at 0:45? Um, yeah, they just slapped his car.

You need to put the pipe down, bruh. These protesters were not just pedestrians crossing the street. They were illegally protesting and were taking up the entire intersection. The first two cars were speeding up trying get through before they blocked it completely. The third car didn’t make it. The cops were standing back and not doing anything about it and there were no barriers indicating what drivers were supposed to do so drivers were trying to get the hell out because they didnt know what was going on.

The mayor is ultimately responsible for what happens in his/her city. That’s why he made the statement. He can make the call with police how involved they will be.
