Mitch McConnell and Trump are running on the talking point that Democrats are attempting "angry mob rule"

Yes politicians are confronted in public. Yes it is uncomfortable at times ala Jeff Flake in the elevator but let's look at who's "mob" are attacking Congressman. Any Democrats disparaging Repubicans because they are white? Any Democrats spitting on Republicans in public like the Tea Party did to a Black Congressman? Both incidens shown here...

Facts vs fiction. No difference in Trump world.

But Trump's minions and Fox will keep hammering it until it becomes truth in the uneducated's minds. They've mastered the art of propaganda and buzz words.

Snowflakes showing everyone, once again, just how pathetic they are. The pissants who march with tiki torches calling for a white ethno state? Very fine people.

Protestors tackle specific issues and wear pink hats - the republic is about to fall!

That's a lot of pink fear Trump! Odd, given your affinity for grabbing pussy, as well as constantly acting like one.

Damn those mobs representing the majority of Americans! Can't they see that their insistence on having a say in things is making their minority party rulers uncomfortable when they are forced to ignore them for the sake of FYGM?!

Making politics more confrontational isn't a good idea, it will not end well. Everyone that does it feels their actions are justified and necessary to stop the evil being perpetrated by the other side, but it always degenerates into violence and tragedy.

There are no two sides, and when you are on the right side its worked in the past.

March on!

They need to stoke the fear and outrage to get their base out to vote for the midterms, it's a ploy and the Slows, taj's, etc will eat it up and spread the FUD. They will scour the cyber looking for examples to post and declare that they are the true victims.

Rinse and repeat for every election with a variation on this theme, whether it's "free stuff", MS-13, gun grabbers, scary Muslims, or Gasp!... socialists. They never fail to fall for it, hook, line, & sinker. And the average non-political savvy voters hear it and start believing it as well. Goebbels would be proud.

That you can only see this from one side astounds me.

One side is mostly fact based, the other is mostly manufactured rage.

edit: That you can't see that doesn't surprise me.
Repubs want take away the poor's healthcare...true
Repubs want to make it harder to vote...true
Repubs want to cut social programs...true
etc.
Dems want open borders...no, they want a guest worker programs and a path to citizenship

Repubs selling fear and hate again to stay in or grasp power. So what else is new?

Trump and his Repub lackeys in Congress have to resort to these kinds of cheap lame ass tricks because if they were forced to tell the truth about themselves and their agenda the party would cease to exist.

That their constituency lap this shit up like it was gospel is pathetically pathetic but they have nothing else to believe in so..................

Maybe if the American people just ask nicely, the ruling oligarchs will stop taking away our rights and stealing our money. #civility

https://abcstlouis.com/news/nation-...-for-failing-to-report-antifa-violence-sunday

"While the news networks downplayed the violence and remained mostly silent on Antifa, reporters posting on Twitter had already revealed that it was Antifa who was behind the violence. They also reported that Antifa's members had targeted them, attempting to destroy any recording devices that would reveal what they really are."

Just one example, there's dozens more. I'll consider this an invitation to start posting on violent attacks on conservatives and Republicans. Including the mobs "getting in the face" of politicians and their wives.

You know the threat of violence pushed by shithole politicians like Maxine Waters.

I don't recall Maxine bragging her supporters wouldn't care if she killed someone in the streets.
Nor did she advocate police roughing up suspects.
Nor did she ask her supporters to commit acts of physical violence and offer to bail them out of jail.

That's your side, Baby Trump

So you're backing off the violence and mob bullshit? This thread was about mob violence and the nasty bitches calling for it.

OMG! Hecklers! Was everyone OK? Tea Party protesters.
"Willoughby said she believes that everyone has the right to protest, but she does not think that what happened on Sunday was the way to do it. "They do have every right to come and protest our rally, I just think they could have done it in a more polite way," she said."

They weren't polite enough for her. Nice story.

The nasty bitch that called for violence is Trump. You were the one who claimed it was Maxine.

I have evidence. You have your usual bullshit.

Well, for the record, the Dems have ZERO desire to reach middle ground, or, as Hillary put it, be civil.

https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1049638926959472640/video/1

"You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That's why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that's when civility can start again."
Republicans already are not civil. How would it help for the Dems not to fight back??
