Headphones

Headphones were made in order to privately listen to music without distracting others. This does not mean turn them up as loud as you can so everyone in the lecture hall can listen to your sh!tty music selection.

Early morning classes

I don't care that it is 8:30 in the morning and about 0 degrees F outside. I, as well as the other 300+ people in lecture, do not want to see your fatass in your tightass pajamas. Wake up earlier, take a damn shower, and find clothes that fit.

Your headphone rant is unfounded, there are two distinct classes of headphones. One is private (sealed) and one is not (open). Open headphones at any listening level can be heard clearly by others in the area.

The problem is their choice in headphones for their intended use.

How big of an area would you permit for open air headphones? This girl was a good 50-75 feet away and I could easily understand the lyrics.

Those weren't headphones - those were powered speakers.

my open air grados would have trouble makeing sound that is audiable from 50 feet, how fereeking loud did she have it, and what was enabeling her to have it that loud. most cdplayers and such dont get that loud
I have no idea what she was using to play it, but I could hear them when I walked into the building. Approximately 50-75 feet from where she was sitting. As I walked up the stairs it only got worse. She was sitting in the freaking hallway getting tons of dirty looks from others who were trying to read up on class notes.

Headphones powered off a CD player, with 300+ people around, being heard 50-75 feet away.
That, my good sir, I will not buy.

Why do you need to look good in college?
I thought that bullsh!t trend went out with high school.

RANT: I hate people who whistle in public and people who talk on their cellphones in public places.

As I stated these were originally heard when I entered the building, not the lecture hall. She was sitting in the hallway which had a few people attempting to read before class.

Nope. Fat chicks in tight clothes and loud crap music make the day start out wrong.

Who wants to see a 200 lb 5'2 chick wearing what resembles spandex? Not to mention the thong action hanging out when tubby sits down.

:Q

I just have my dinner!

The lecture hall is not your bedroom. Wake your ass up earlier and get dressed. These people simply roll out of bed and go to lecture so they can get as much sleep as possible. I'd like to see them pull the same thing at work.

They pay a premium to be there. In work, they pay YOU for being there. In fact, that fat chick is paying your salary.
So, I don't see the correlation.

Unless there is a dress code, I don't see the problem. Ok, well, I DO see the problem with fat chicks in tight clothes. :)
