Headphones

Headphones were made in order to privately listen to music without distracting others. This does not mean turn them up as loud as you can so everyone in the lecture hall can listen to your sh!tty music selection.

I don't care that it is 8:30 in the morning and about 0 degrees F outside. I, as well as the other 300+ people in lecture, do not want to see your fatass in your tightass pajamas. Wake up earlier, take a damn shower, and find clothes that fit.


 
Hmm... There's something lacking here. I don't feel sanguine assigning a rating just yet. It seems like there's a lot of room for elaboration, a lot of opportunity for the expression of hate and anger.

I think that headphones that loud will cause hearing damage. And I just don't like loud noises, so I don't have my headphones or speakers loud anyway.

and I can understand hearing the headphones if it's not too loud in the room, but when you can hear the lyrics and stuff, it starts to become quite annoying indeed!!

Don't tell me how do to my fvcking job! - I've been working in a professional capacity for the past 20 year, IT for the last 13. I don't need some other person IM'ing me (who, by the way, is only three cubicles down from me) every 15 minutes to tell me who I need to talk to, what to write, and when I need to do it. If they'd only frikken look at our posting site (where the team is supposed to post their work), I wouldn't be pestered. Half of this department I am in could be dropped because they don't frikken do anything except attend meetings.

I'm sorry this person died, but I don't feel sad. - The bastard did it to himself. Lied about going into a rehab program, lied about saving money (and not stealing it), lied about talking to someone about seeing a marriage counselor. He left an estranged wife and two kids. No, I didn't cry at the funeral or feel sad at his departure. She is better off now going on with her life, finding someone else that'll really care about her (she is very intellegent and beautiful) and her kids. And she won't worry about him coming back to screw with their lives in the future. Yeah, he was a friend but he abused that friendship way too much for me to care anymore.

Your headphone rant is unfounded, there are two distinct classes of headphones. One is private (sealed) and one is not (open). Open headphones at any listening level can be heard clearly by others in the area.

The problem is their choice in headphones for their intended use.

How big of an area would you permit for open air headphones? This girl was a good 50-75 feet away and I could easily understand the lyrics.

my open air grados would have trouble makeing sound that is audiable from 50 feet, how fereeking loud did she have it, and what was enabeling her to have it that loud. most cdplayers and such dont get that loud
