NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York officials were red-faced on Friday after they discovered that clothing ads on city buses that appeared to promote reading suggested a love of books could be rewarded with oral sex.

The advertisements that ran on about 200 buses across the city in recent months carried posters displaying a suggestively posed woman in hot pants kneeling among a pile of books beside the snappy slogan "Read Books, Get Brain."

What unhip, unsuspecting local transportation officials did not know was that "get brain" is street slang for oral sex.

Hmmm....I was always under the impression (as a youth) that older people weren't hip because they just didn't "get" modern slang.

I've now come to the conclusion getting older doesn't necessarily mean you aren't hip because you don't "get" slang....but because you DO 'get it', but think it is REALLY, REALLY RETARDED and something you would have picked on a kid at school for using when you were a kid.

I mean, really, every adult on this thread...think back to high school...okay....keep going.....alright, high school.

Some kid starts talking and is all "Yeah, I took my girlfriend out last night and got brain! You know, *nudge*, *nudge*, got brain? 😉 "

You'd be all like "Uhhh....that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. You get no points. Die please." And then punch him in the face or something for being, apparently, semi-retarded at best.
