I would rather see completely legalized Marijuana. Medical Marijuana is just a big lie. I would rather not fall into the trap of whether it is good or bad for people. Lots of things like french fries and pizza or peppers can be just as good or bad depending on theiry use. I have a couple of Castor bean plants they make Risin from growing in my back yard. They are also suppose to cut down on bugs, misquitos and Aphids.

It's given out to everyone because it has fewer side effects. Some antidepressants like Paxil come with warnings about how some people become suicidal after taking them. While weed can make some people less depressed, giving it to the wrong person never makes them suicidal the way Paxil does.

It's all about side effects. Weed's only major side effect is that people should avoid using heavy equipment and avoid driving. If it doesn't work as intended, it's not a big deal.

sorry, I use cannabis as an alternative to the anti-psychotics they prescribed me for my IBS. Unless you think those anti-psychotics are also bullshit....

Calling medical marijuana a complete lie isn't fair. There are plenty of documented cases of marijuana legitimately treating ailments.

They tried legalizing in california, but there are too many ignorant, uninformed people voting, or even capitalist growers voting against legalization because the racket they have going w\ medical mj is so profitable.

Final thoughts on this "debate" if you can even call it a debate.. So long as alcohol and tobacco are legal and celebrated substances of our society, there is no valid case against legalization of marijuana.

This is a terrible argument. That's like saying "I can't clean the whole house so I'm not going to clean any part of the house."

They picked the wrong one to make illegal, the least harmless among them is the most illegal. Doesn't matter anyway, it being illegal has done nothing to keep people from using/importing/growing/selling it anyway, and if the others were illegal they would still be used/grown/imported/sold.

Actually, it's like saying if A kills 500,000 people per year, and B kills 250,000 per year, and C kills 0 people per year, let's make C illegal.

There is no logical argument for keeping marijuana illegal, just as there was no logical argument to make it illegal in the first place.

If you're just arriving to the year 2011, welcome. We have a thing called the internet. Unfortunately the people back when marijuana was made illegal did not have the internet. They were in fact so dumb, that they actually thought propaganda like Reefer Madness was real and accurate.... Imagine being that dumb for a minute...
